Excellent little case, recommended.

This case was suggested by Amazon for the WD 4TB My Passport SSD External Portable Solid State Drive (WDBAGF0040BGY-WESN). The drive is only about 2 1/4 inches wide but the case opening is about 3 1/2 inches wide, so the drive can slide around. And the drive is only about 1/4 thick but the case opening is about 3/8 so the drive is not held in place. DO NOT BUY THIS CASE FOR THIS DRIVE.

This model has an external flap attached to it with a rivet which really gets in the way if you are trying to stack a few of these together. It also increases the chance of getting the case snagged on something as you are handling it. This flap is supposedly there to attach a lanyard so you can let this very delicate and data-critical piece of equipment swing from your belt. Who would ever think about doing such a thing? In any case, the attachment just gets in the way; this is a very bad (and useless design). The B1A27C4 model of this case, also from Lacdo, does not have this - instead it has a very uniform and smooth external surface. Buy that model.
