I purchased a WD 2TB Elements Portable External Hard Drive and this case, the case is to small for this Portable hard drive and it was suppose to fit! The case itself is well made and would protect a portable with the fullest confidence.

the product I received smells awful. It has a very strong disinfectant smell. I will let it air out for a few days, but it is strong enough that if the smell does not disappear, I will not be able to use it.

LOVE this carry case! I ordered to store my 2TB WD Elements Portable USB 3.0 Hard Drive. The HD fits perfectly in the case. the flap insert is a bit small for this drive ( covers all but 1/4th inch of the drive), which really doesnt effect the drive or closing of the case. After buying it for my HD I also bought 2 more for my mom and sisters drive.
