Needed a carrying case for a new external I bought and this one seems to work fine. Havent done any drop tests and dont plan to either, but it seems like it would protect it from small drops if you where carrying it around. Has spots for cables and everything you need.

Case works well for storing my WD Hard Drive but I no longer use it because its too bulky.

Fit my Western Digital drive perfectly and felt well made. Would buy again if I needed it.

I would recommend these cases to anyone that does a lot of commuting and needs quality protection for their drive.

I bought one of these to store my new passport 5tb drive to keep it safe during handling.

I dont know if the shock proof functionality of this case works and hopefully wont have to find out. It does appear well constructed and padded as if it would be shock proof. I purchased it to protect a new Seagate 4TB hard drive. So I really cant give a functional review but given the looks, the way the hard drive fits in case and a separate area for cables I will assume its a good product.
