LAMY LT52GR Bottle Ink, Green

I use several different kinds of fountain pens for different projects and this ink is very nice and works perfect for tracing, outlining and of course writing.

Good quality product without any issues. The package arrived in time as well. I was surprised to see someone offers a bottle of ink in todays day and age. I have a fountain pen which I love to write with. Thanks for making it possible.

This blue is deep enough to be official-looking, but so so deep that its boring. My friend saw a page and referred to it as TARDIS blue. Its a very versatile color. I may consider mixing some other inks with it to play around, but Ill never do it to the whole bottle. I want to keep this color around.

The ink and the bottle were fine, but the blotter paper roll is supposed to have a tab sticking out, and the bottle I received did not have that tab sticking out... I also have a bottle of turquoise (not thru Amazon...) and that had the tab sticking out.. after a lot of juggling the bottle from Amazon, I managed to access the blotting paper...

I admit to being an inkophile, and this is my favorite blue. Its bright enough without being too bright for formal use. The ink flows well through my Lamy Fine nibs. I use Moleskine and Leuchtturm and Field Notes notebooks, and they all accept this ink very well. Some reviewers of those notebooks complain that they dont handle fountain ink well, but I have been able to write on both sides of the pages in all of those notebooks with no bleed-through and no noticeable show-through using my Fine-nib Lamy Safari pens; the ink is drying immediately, so theres no need to delay closing the notebook--at least when using this ink in a climate with only moderate humidity.

Got it along with the Lamy Safari Fountain Pen. It flows well, unlike some of the cheaper alternatives. Great purchase

I like this ink very much, the color appeals to me and writing with my fine-point Lamy pen is very smooth. However you need to remember that its a WASHABLE ink. Thats why it doesnt clog the pen. The down side is that any water getting on the page will smear what youve written. And like any fountain-pen ink, it works well only on a coated paper so the ink doesnt sink in. That means you should choose paper intended for ink-jet printers.

I got a Lami Lx with a blue cartridge and have loved this ink since. Had to buy a bottle after the cartridge ran out! Testing out how this will mix with some Aurora black ink. So far, it looks/feels great. No problems yet.
