> 3 dayLami ink is the best ink. Been using fountain pens for years. Most of the other brands cause problems with ink flow in my Waterman pens. No problems with Lami ink. Touch pen to paper and pen starts writing. I’m a lawyer, so I use my fountain pens quite a bit.

> 3 dayThis ink works for me! It is not water resistant, so that is the only issue I have run into so far. The color is a nice blue and the blotting paper is helpful.

Greater than one weekI have been a Pelikan fan for a long time. However, a few months ago I bought a Lamy Studio which came with a couple of blue cartridges as well as a converter. I usually write with black ink, but for some reason decided to give the cartridge a whirl. I am glad I did. Color preference is really personal and there are very few blue inks that I have tried that I really like. Lamy blue is one of them. I find the blue very bright and a very true blue, no hints of purple, green or black. The ink flows smoothly and has a nice viscosity so it doesnt bleed, even on cheap notebook paper. The ink seems to be more opaque than translucent, though on broader nibs there is some very nice variation. After using the cartridges up, it was time to either get more cartridges or get a bottle of the blue. I decided for the price point that it would be well worth it to get the bottle and be able to enjoy using this color ink in pens other than Lamys. (Lamy cartridges only fit Lamy pens) As I say color is very personal, but for my taste the Lamy Blue is a nice companion to my standby Pelikan Royal Blue.

> 3 dayAlthough it looks washed out i still use it because the lamy eraser marker erases it perfectly. Im a college student and use it for all of my classes including math. If you use lamy blue get the lamy ink x pen to be able to erase when you make a mistake.
