> 24 hourReally pleased with our scooter, good quality build. Packaging was somewhat damaged but think that was more the fault of the carrier.

> 24 hour1. In order to receive an advertised free lock, one has to post a review on Amazon - not mentioned anywhere on the initially advertised leaflet. In addition, offer is limited to 1 per household only. We bought 2 LaScoota scooters, spent $200 and will receive only 1 lock. 2. I bought 2 LaScoota Teen/Adult scooters (purple and plum colors) for me and my husband and 2 Razor Lux for my 6 and 7-year-old kids. 3. Differences between Razor Lux 5 and LaScoota: a) handlebars are longer on LaScoota, making for a more comfortable grip while riding (Razor Lux 5 grip is thinner and shorter, by about 5 mm) b) Razor Lux is easier to fold and lighter making it more portable - Razor is lighter by about 1.5 pounds b) LaScoota plum-colored scooter cost $89.99, cargo/army colored scooter cost $99.00. Razors Lux 5 (blue and pink colors) cost $69.99 on the Walmart website, as part of a holiday special (now they are $89.99) c) My plum-colored LaScoota had difficulties with the folding mechanism from the beginning - the plastic was too high at the folding part, making it almost impossible to fold, even with a help of my strong husband. As a result, my husband had to loosen the bolt a bit, and, not surprisingly, the bolt got lost while riding. I am awaiting a replacement item from Amazon (its on its way). I was wondering about returning the plum LaScoota and replacing it with the Lux Razor (red color), however, I like the LaScoota handlebars a bit better and this kind of made me want to give a second chance to LaScoota. Hopefully, the folding mechanism will work better on my replacement item. I will provide an updated review once I have received my replacement LaScoota item. I really want this to work this time. d) If I had to commute everyday to work and rely on folding the scooter to take it on bus/subway/train, etc., I would most likely take Razor Lux, even though the handlebars may not be that comfortable as on LaScoota, because it is much lighter and easier to fold than LaScoota e) Similarities: the ride is equally smooth on both Razor Lux and LaScoota

> 24 hourWhen you open the scooter and you see that metal plate that blocks the handle bars from being inserted - it’s a block to keep the handlebars out during shipment. Just remove it by pulling it straight out. If the scooter seems noisy, just remove the strap used to carry it. I replaced my bearings with REDS bearings to allow for further and faster travel. The scooter is lightweight, pretty sturdy, just gotta really tighten the bar to remove any shake from the equation. 4 stars because the wheels feel cheaper than expected and bearings were as good as Walmart. Expected for the price but definitely a good scooter for starters and casual ride and commute.

> 24 hourIm revising my review! My neighbor used a tap and die set to re-thread the ruined nut. He pointed out that the plastic insert was made to just pull out. I wish the instructions had made that clear. When I pulled gently, nothing happened and I jumped to the wrong conclusion. The scooter easily folds and unfolds and is lightweight, just what I wanted, but I was surprised at how rough the ride was. Theres also a strange clicking sound every so often. Ill keep it and see how long it lasts. ****** Im not a teen, Im a woman who has used tools before. Seller: This message is for you. The scooter arrived the evening of 4/21/23. It looked good and was light enough for me to remove from the outer box and easily move around. The next day I took it out of the plastic bag and re-read the instructions. They guided me in how to unfold the front wheel – so far, so good! But then the problem began. Step 3 says to undo the handle clamp. Step 4 says to remove the plastic insert. But the insert is fastened in by a screw. The step 3 photo shows an arm up above, so I assumed that something on top had to be turned. Besides the clamp that could be released but not rotated, there’s a hole smaller than any of the tools that came with the scooter. When I looked at the scooter from the front, I saw the nut on the bottom of the screw. I tried turning it by hand, but it would turn only so far. One of the L-wrenches was the right size but was awkward to use in the small space. I figured out I needed to pull the stem higher to make room to get the tool into the end of the nut. But by then the nut was jammed and wouldn’t turn at all. So I can’t remove the plastic insert, which means I can’t insert the handlebar grips. All I want is for you to send me a new screw and nut, which are probably made especially for the LaScoota. I’ll need someone’s help where I live to forcibly remove the jammed nut, which will ruin it and maybe ruin the end of the long screw also. So please, send me those two parts or advise me otherwise on what to do. Thanks in advance for your assistance. I look forward to praising you for your easily unfoldable product and your customer service.

> 24 hourVery easy to assemble. My 8 year old grandson loves his scooter. Hes a tall 8 year old and he loves how smooth the ride is compared to his razor. I have also tried it out, its really a great scooter, I would highly recommend. Value for money.

> 24 hourIts a great scooter! It folds up nicely and pretty easy to assemble when you get it (it just needs the handle bars.) Ive taken it out on trails and around the neighborhood and I havent had any problems! The height for the handles is perfect and could even go taller/ shorter if needed :)

> 24 hourPurchased this scooter for a 9 yo old child. They seem to like it. Scooter comes already pre-assembled. The only issue I have with the scooter is the rear break light. The scooter doesnt come with it, you have to pay separately, and the scooter is designed to fit only a specific light. I dont even mind that but the light they sell is extremely cheap and poorly made. I had to return it immediately because the light didnt work out of the box. I wouldnt even mind the $20 price tag for the light if it was quality. Shame LaScoota...This rear light issue is hurting your brand, either redesign for a universal light or go with a better brand of light manufacturer.
