> 3 dayWorks for my short 6 and 10 year olds. Both are small for their age. For my 6 year old, I push the handle all the way down below the bottom lock-notch, and lock it in hard since its not in a lock-notch. For my 10 year old I use the lowest of the 3 lock notches. For an adult, one of the upper 2 lock notches works great. Really nice scooter. Very impressed. It fits me perfectly as an adult, as well as the 6 and 9 year old. Folds very compactly and the handles pop out too. Very impressed! I havent tried, but it may even be small enough to put into a full-size suit case to fly with it and use for commuting on business trips. I may buy myself one for just that purpose.

> 3 dayI bought this scooter for my son in Jan 2023. By March 2023 the scooter was broken (the front wheel, spring etc. came off). He has used it not more than 10 times. Very disappointed with the purchase. Have raised the issue with the seller and waiting for resolution. Would not recommend this product. Weve had scooters less expensive than this and lasted years. Im writing this review on April 7th 2023. Had a very good experience with the customer support team. They were very prompt and replaced my scooter with a new one. Hope the new scooter would last long.

> 3 day1. In order to receive an advertised free lock, one has to post a review on Amazon - not mentioned anywhere on the initially advertised leaflet. In addition, offer is limited to 1 per household only. We bought 2 LaScoota scooters, spent $200 and will receive only 1 lock. 2. I bought 2 LaScoota Teen/Adult scooters (purple and plum colors) for me and my husband and 2 Razor Lux for my 6 and 7-year-old kids. 3. Differences between Razor Lux 5 and LaScoota: a) handlebars are longer on LaScoota, making for a more comfortable grip while riding (Razor Lux 5 grip is thinner and shorter, by about 5 mm) b) Razor Lux is easier to fold and lighter making it more portable - Razor is lighter by about 1.5 pounds b) LaScoota plum-colored scooter cost $89.99, cargo/army colored scooter cost $99.00. Razors Lux 5 (blue and pink colors) cost $69.99 on the Walmart website, as part of a holiday special (now they are $89.99) c) My plum-colored LaScoota had difficulties with the folding mechanism from the beginning - the plastic was too high at the folding part, making it almost impossible to fold, even with a help of my strong husband. As a result, my husband had to loosen the bolt a bit, and, not surprisingly, the bolt got lost while riding. I am awaiting a replacement item from Amazon (its on its way). I was wondering about returning the plum LaScoota and replacing it with the Lux Razor (red color), however, I like the LaScoota handlebars a bit better and this kind of made me want to give a second chance to LaScoota. Hopefully, the folding mechanism will work better on my replacement item. I will provide an updated review once I have received my replacement LaScoota item. I really want this to work this time. d) If I had to commute everyday to work and rely on folding the scooter to take it on bus/subway/train, etc., I would most likely take Razor Lux, even though the handlebars may not be that comfortable as on LaScoota, because it is much lighter and easier to fold than LaScoota e) Similarities: the ride is equally smooth on both Razor Lux and LaScoota

> 3 dayIts practically rideable right out of the box. You just have to insert the handle bars and adjust the stem height. Super Easy. The whole thing feels solid and sturdy without being heavy at all. I own a bike and wanted to add another low impact exercise to my routine. I figured this would be a great leg and glute workout. Heres what I liked: Good sized deck, comfortable handle bars, nice grip, easy to adjust stem height, kick stand doesnt interfere with the foot kicking on that side, easy to open and fold, light enough to carry and lift into my trunk with one hand. Here are my issues: 1. no suspension and the wheels do not do well over anything on the sidewalk. If there was a stray piece of gravel, the wheel would slip. The traction isnt great. 2. The rougher the surface the the more vibration you feel. This probably wouldnt be noticeable to a kid or teen or someone without joint issues, but my body was buzzing when I got off. It really is a good scooter, especially for the price, which is why I still gave it 5 stars. I just need something with good suspension and air filled tired to help mitigate the vibration. I think this scooter will work for most people and would still recommend it despite it not being a good fit for me.

> 3 dayGreat scooter that holds up well, lightweight but durable. Breaking it down to carry it on your shoulder is easy and well balanced. The only thing that broke quickly was the flimsy kick stand but it’s not that important.

> 3 dayThe scooter appears to be very well made and is easy to assemble. Im sure my grandkids will put many miles on it! I contacted the LaScoota customer service on the other recent scooter I purchased and they went above and beyond. I am always happy to support companies like this that stand behind their products and value their customers!

05-06-2025I bought this scooter because my kids just got good at their scooters and I couldnt keep up. This is WORLDS better than stealing my oldests razor. The big wheels make for a much smoother ride, the wide deck feels so much better on my feet, and the handlebars are scaled for an adult body. I appreciated that it came with the tools needed to tighten everything up. Between unpacking and the first scoot was maybe ten minutes. My partner tried it and also wants one now. I cant speak to how this compares to other adult scooters, but it more than meets my needs.

Greater than one weekMy 13 year old son, who has a height of 5 ft 6 in and weigh 105 lb, loves his Lascoota Scooter! This is his first set of wheels, besides the kiddie tricycle he had when he was 3 yrs old--which he only rode less than 10 times. He has been riding it ever since he got it on Tuesday, May 12, 2020. So its been four days thus far. I even rode it too and I love it! I noticed that the lowest height setting is great for both my son and I--Im 5 ft 8 in and 137 lb. The adult Lascoota Scooter is a great scooter for even taller people. The weight limit is 220 lbs though, so Im not sure if you can exceed that, as my son and I are both underweight, and we havent even tried to attempt to test the weight limit. Now, the downside--which wasnt really a problem for me, but I still need to point it out just in case someone else comes across this same issue: *Box: When I received the scooter, the amazon box was open halfway. The scooter box was slightly torn. However, there was no damage to the scooter itself, except for a white line streak on the griptape. *Overall, the scooter is sturdy and has a good weight to it. The handles feel great--a great grip. *Scooter Handles: Out the box, the handles did not go in at all! I had to use a slotted screwdriver, aka flat head screwdriver, to slightly open the handlebar holder after removing the clamp, and then insert the handles one by one, while still holding the holder open with the screwdriver. I then screwed the clamp back on. Though this occurred, I was never going to fold the scooter or remove the handlebars afterwards, so I was fine with this. It also reassures me that the handles will never pop out by accident. *Scooter Deck: Out the box, the scooter griptape on the deck was slightly peeled of towards the ends. This resolved itself later. I guess it had to do with the shipping or something, but now its not an issue. Overall, I give this scooter five stars, because even though it started out a bit rocky out the box, there was no issue afterwards and I love seeing my son outdoors with a huge smile on his face. Did I mention the awesome big wheels! Oh yeah, one more thing, my son wears a size 10 1/2 in US men and there is still a bit of space left when he places his whole foot on it. So about a size 11 1/2 max would be a comfortable fit. I am definitely getting myself one too!

> 3 dayPurchased this scooter for a 9 yo old child. They seem to like it. Scooter comes already pre-assembled. The only issue I have with the scooter is the rear break light. The scooter doesnt come with it, you have to pay separately, and the scooter is designed to fit only a specific light. I dont even mind that but the light they sell is extremely cheap and poorly made. I had to return it immediately because the light didnt work out of the box. I wouldnt even mind the $20 price tag for the light if it was quality. Shame LaScoota...This rear light issue is hurting your brand, either redesign for a universal light or go with a better brand of light manufacturer.
