> 24 hourVery easy to assemble. My 8 year old grandson loves his scooter. Hes a tall 8 year old and he loves how smooth the ride is compared to his razor. I have also tried it out, its really a great scooter, I would highly recommend. Value for money.

> 24 hourI dont normally write reviews for purchases but felt this one was necessary. My scooter arrived in a timely manner is a really big box that felt awkward to carry but was very easy to assemble. Because my commute on foot after an hour-length of time from taking the bus would normally have been half an hour downhill and uphill, this thing easily cuts off a good 10 minutes traveling carefully from one place to another and handles going uphill on reasonable inclines really well. The sand grip tape was partway peeling off in the back when it came in, but that was hardly any complaint from me as I figured I would just fix it at some point because it doesnt seem to be getting any worse. LaScoota sent me a replacement tape for this issue and it arrived the other day. Overall, its a good scooter and the company shows a lot of care in making it a good quality product while reaching out and communicating with their buyers.

> 24 hour1. In order to receive an advertised free lock, one has to post a review on Amazon - not mentioned anywhere on the initially advertised leaflet. In addition, offer is limited to 1 per household only. We bought 2 LaScoota scooters, spent $200 and will receive only 1 lock. 2. I bought 2 LaScoota Teen/Adult scooters (purple and plum colors) for me and my husband and 2 Razor Lux for my 6 and 7-year-old kids. 3. Differences between Razor Lux 5 and LaScoota: a) handlebars are longer on LaScoota, making for a more comfortable grip while riding (Razor Lux 5 grip is thinner and shorter, by about 5 mm) b) Razor Lux is easier to fold and lighter making it more portable - Razor is lighter by about 1.5 pounds b) LaScoota plum-colored scooter cost $89.99, cargo/army colored scooter cost $99.00. Razors Lux 5 (blue and pink colors) cost $69.99 on the Walmart website, as part of a holiday special (now they are $89.99) c) My plum-colored LaScoota had difficulties with the folding mechanism from the beginning - the plastic was too high at the folding part, making it almost impossible to fold, even with a help of my strong husband. As a result, my husband had to loosen the bolt a bit, and, not surprisingly, the bolt got lost while riding. I am awaiting a replacement item from Amazon (its on its way). I was wondering about returning the plum LaScoota and replacing it with the Lux Razor (red color), however, I like the LaScoota handlebars a bit better and this kind of made me want to give a second chance to LaScoota. Hopefully, the folding mechanism will work better on my replacement item. I will provide an updated review once I have received my replacement LaScoota item. I really want this to work this time. d) If I had to commute everyday to work and rely on folding the scooter to take it on bus/subway/train, etc., I would most likely take Razor Lux, even though the handlebars may not be that comfortable as on LaScoota, because it is much lighter and easier to fold than LaScoota e) Similarities: the ride is equally smooth on both Razor Lux and LaScoota

> 24 hourMy 13 year old son, who has a height of 5 ft 6 in and weigh 105 lb, loves his Lascoota Scooter! This is his first set of wheels, besides the kiddie tricycle he had when he was 3 yrs old--which he only rode less than 10 times. He has been riding it ever since he got it on Tuesday, May 12, 2020. So its been four days thus far. I even rode it too and I love it! I noticed that the lowest height setting is great for both my son and I--Im 5 ft 8 in and 137 lb. The adult Lascoota Scooter is a great scooter for even taller people. The weight limit is 220 lbs though, so Im not sure if you can exceed that, as my son and I are both underweight, and we havent even tried to attempt to test the weight limit. Now, the downside--which wasnt really a problem for me, but I still need to point it out just in case someone else comes across this same issue: *Box: When I received the scooter, the amazon box was open halfway. The scooter box was slightly torn. However, there was no damage to the scooter itself, except for a white line streak on the griptape. *Overall, the scooter is sturdy and has a good weight to it. The handles feel great--a great grip. *Scooter Handles: Out the box, the handles did not go in at all! I had to use a slotted screwdriver, aka flat head screwdriver, to slightly open the handlebar holder after removing the clamp, and then insert the handles one by one, while still holding the holder open with the screwdriver. I then screwed the clamp back on. Though this occurred, I was never going to fold the scooter or remove the handlebars afterwards, so I was fine with this. It also reassures me that the handles will never pop out by accident. *Scooter Deck: Out the box, the scooter griptape on the deck was slightly peeled of towards the ends. This resolved itself later. I guess it had to do with the shipping or something, but now its not an issue. Overall, I give this scooter five stars, because even though it started out a bit rocky out the box, there was no issue afterwards and I love seeing my son outdoors with a huge smile on his face. Did I mention the awesome big wheels! Oh yeah, one more thing, my son wears a size 10 1/2 in US men and there is still a bit of space left when he places his whole foot on it. So about a size 11 1/2 max would be a comfortable fit. I am definitely getting myself one too!

> 24 hourI use this any time theres good weather to get to my job. I work about a mile and a half from my home so its the perfect commuter scooter for me. Thats not to say I havent munched it a few times on the way there- as it obviously doesnt take away your responsibility as a driver, but even with a few scratches it has held strong.

> 24 hourIm revising my review! My neighbor used a tap and die set to re-thread the ruined nut. He pointed out that the plastic insert was made to just pull out. I wish the instructions had made that clear. When I pulled gently, nothing happened and I jumped to the wrong conclusion. The scooter easily folds and unfolds and is lightweight, just what I wanted, but I was surprised at how rough the ride was. Theres also a strange clicking sound every so often. Ill keep it and see how long it lasts. ****** Im not a teen, Im a woman who has used tools before. Seller: This message is for you. The scooter arrived the evening of 4/21/23. It looked good and was light enough for me to remove from the outer box and easily move around. The next day I took it out of the plastic bag and re-read the instructions. They guided me in how to unfold the front wheel – so far, so good! But then the problem began. Step 3 says to undo the handle clamp. Step 4 says to remove the plastic insert. But the insert is fastened in by a screw. The step 3 photo shows an arm up above, so I assumed that something on top had to be turned. Besides the clamp that could be released but not rotated, there’s a hole smaller than any of the tools that came with the scooter. When I looked at the scooter from the front, I saw the nut on the bottom of the screw. I tried turning it by hand, but it would turn only so far. One of the L-wrenches was the right size but was awkward to use in the small space. I figured out I needed to pull the stem higher to make room to get the tool into the end of the nut. But by then the nut was jammed and wouldn’t turn at all. So I can’t remove the plastic insert, which means I can’t insert the handlebar grips. All I want is for you to send me a new screw and nut, which are probably made especially for the LaScoota. I’ll need someone’s help where I live to forcibly remove the jammed nut, which will ruin it and maybe ruin the end of the long screw also. So please, send me those two parts or advise me otherwise on what to do. Thanks in advance for your assistance. I look forward to praising you for your easily unfoldable product and your customer service.

> 24 hourI purchased 2 of these for my 6 and 7 year old girls, and they havent ridden their awesome, brand new bikes since! They love the scooters, and so do I. I will pull the handle bars up to my height (511, 175 lbs) and take it out for a spin occassionally, and it performs great for me as well. It can be a little tough to fold. My kids are unable to get the little button pressed in enough to fold them, but not hard for an adult. They look great, the wheels will roll over most any little rock in the road, so not much worry about taking a digger face first due to s small, overlooked pebble in the road. Overall, best scooter weve owned, and we have owned a few of the trendy and pricey models. Best value in my opinion. Oh, and the color choices are awesome!

> 24 hourI bought this to ride with grandchildren and share with their parents if they want to Scoot too. I bought this one because the main description said its good up to 264 lbs. BUT in the detail it says it goes up to 220 lbs. Which is it? Some of the parents I hope to share this with are over 220 but less than 264! I hope the manufacturer reads these reviews and will clarify. It works great for me and I hope to keep it! Smooth ride and easy to fold. Its Nov 14th, 2022 weve been scooting a lot. In the front it feels like the wheel is dragging. I can scoot with no problem, but something is already not right, maybe fender down on the wheel. Mine had no directions with it, does anyone have them that they can take pic of and send me? Maybe theres adjustments I can make by tightening something, etc. Thx
