> 24 hourIs this a professional sandblaster for cleaning off body panels? No. Is it perfect for etching or cleaning up small parts? Definitely yes. I had a badly rusted battery shelf from a motorcycle that I cleaned up in about 20 minutes with 6-8 cups of 80 grit glass beads and a small pancake compressor. It took off all the residual paint and every bit of rust. I spent a few minutes tweaking it and learning to use it, but after that it did an amazing job.

> 24 hourNot many real/decent reviews on this. I was at first skeptical because I didnt have any media to try out on my Brembo calipers. I had baking soda in the kitchen and gave that a whirl. Did absolutely nothing. I was very disappointed. Read online that someone tired salt. Gave that a whirl, nothing.... Mad after reading other reviews and still optimistic I didnt give up yet. Not having a Tractor Supply or Harbor Freight near by, I decided to do what everyone says not to do...I went to Home Depot and bought play sand!!!! **I do not condone or am advising using sand because it can cause serious damage to your lungs from the silica** I figured it was worth a try and only $4 for 50lbs and right across the street from my house, why not. The result was surprising!! It made me start to believe this gun. I think a big problem is that the media control valve is misleading. It says on, or off. Never having sand blasted before I didnt know that regulating the amount that comes out of the gun does make a difference!! When I first started with the baking soda and salt, it was wide open. Tried salt again with the valve only slightly open and it actually did some removal. As you can see from the pictures this gun did its job. The sand is a little but too abrasive for the alluminum but IT WORKS!! Using 90-120lbs of pressure this gun ABSOLUTELY WORKS. Use the right material and the right amount of air to material ratio and you have yourself an at home sandblaster. Now, the next step is to get non harmful abrasive to my lungs and an open area to complete the job.

> 24 hourIll admit I was skeptical about how well this would perform, but the price was just too good not to try it. Used it on a couple moderate size jobs where I had to take the old finish off a couple shotgun receivers, and man, it worked great! Left me with a satin texture based on the blasting media I used which was perfect, then I cleaned and recoated both and they turned out perfect. Would definitely recommend for small to medium surface stripping jobs.

> 24 hourThis is made for small areas. 2 inches square and smaller Larger areas youll want something bigger. Use of proper media and a 5cfm dry air supply at 80 psi gives good results. Much much better product than the cleaply made ones, upgraded to the ceramic tip.

> 24 hourThis works well but it seems to pour out the sand if tilted forward. I suggest using with a blasting cabinet so you can sift and recycle the blasting material since you use a lot with this gun.
