> 3 dayI needed to sandblast some small parts and antique tools that had rusted. I took them to a local machine shop that does that sort of thing and they quoted me $150.00. YIKES! So I went to AMAZON and found this little device. I already had a air compressor so I ordered this sandblaster. It works great for cleaning up small projects! I realized that I didnt have any blasting medium when it arrived. NO PROBLEM! It comes with a screen. You can use it to sift the fine sand in your kids sandbox to do your little jobs Bigger projects - I would order some blasting medium togo with this great tool. It requires about 90 Psi from your compressor to really be effective, so you will need an air tank with some volume to work properly. A portable DeWalt with two tanks like the one I have would work fine (or larger). For this price, this is a handy tool to have in any workshop. A great gift for the handyman!

> 3 dayI had the correct PSI requirement, but nothing happened at 150 psi just a little air. I tried walnut shells. I have a $125 Craftsman pancake with low cfm likely, so I checked into how much a 7 cfm compressor cost because I thought I could make a small upgrade, the results were not good, 7 cfm compressors are expensive. This should be stated with more NOTICE on the title as it was a waste of everyone’s time, energy etc. I mean I had to order the 8 lb media box, the blaster and filter, then had to return it, probably 10 people in the whole deal were inconvenienced by this missed detail.

> 3 dayI am so please with this thing. My son wanted to repaint some old rims but did want to remove the tires from the rims (yes, I know). He actually did a pretty good job with acetone and scrapping, but it took a LOT of elbow grease and still left many spots. We ordered some black sand here and tried this out. It worked! And nicely too. I agree with other reviewers, it makes a bit of a mess (not the same if you are used to using a cabinet) but the potability! (I cant fit a tire rim into any cabinet I can afford). Next time I am going to find sand colored sand (yes, I know), so it hides better in the grass. Very pleased with results!
