I think I used too large a size media. It didnt so all that well of a job removing rust with what I used. Had to keep shaking it to feed media.

Sand Blaster as described and easy to use. My project was to blast outdoor aluminum furniture in preparation for painting. I used Black Beauty Abrasive Blast Media Extra Fine abrasive 30/60 mesh. In hindsight I could have used a larger abrasive. If you have a large project youll be wishing the hopper was a bit larger - only means more refills. Note, my compressor was on the smaller size, being a 1.6 hp, 20 gal tank, and 4.0 SCFM @ 90 psi. I did not have any problems at all using this blaster with the hopper. As my air started to run out, my abrasive in the hopper also ran out. After stopping and refilling the hopper, the compressor filled back to full pressure (120 psi).

I seem to want to use this all the time now that i have it.. have found a number of smaller projects that require a quick blast and this is very convenient. Surely not suited for larger jobs where you would need to keep filling the unit. Wasnt sure this would be all that useful but had enough small/quick projects that made me get it and glad i did. Havent had it long but have used it a number of times already.

Ill admit I was skeptical about how well this would perform, but the price was just too good not to try it. Used it on a couple moderate size jobs where I had to take the old finish off a couple shotgun receivers, and man, it worked great! Left me with a satin texture based on the blasting media I used which was perfect, then I cleaned and recoated both and they turned out perfect. Would definitely recommend for small to medium surface stripping jobs.

I use it on smaller projects. It does work for small projects.It’s easy to control.

I needed a sandblaster for small jobs around the house and didnt want something taking up a lot of space so for the price thought Id try this gun. It works great like on outside light fixtures, snowmobile exhaust parts, small auto rust spots to name a few. I used a 2.5 HP 25 gallon compressor but wont keep up with the pressure needed, but will usually last through the sand the gun holds and catches up while I refill the gun. Great to have this handy all the time. It is best suited for a small job.

This does what I needed it for and is fine for very small blasting jobs. Keep that in mind and you wont be disappointed.
