Great dor 2 yr. olds just starting out using puzzles. Has held up very well.

My great-grandson only 3 years old ENJOYS it. And is so PROUD when he completes each puzzle that he did all by himself.

I didnt realize that the 4 puzzles were different sizes (2 piece, 4 piece, 6 piece, and 8 piece). I wish they were all 4-piece. So the 6-piece 8-piece are too advanced for my little one, but they are sturdy and provide room for growth. I have some other Learning Journey puzzles and I really like the brand.

I was pleasantly surprised at the thickness of the cardboard of these puzzle pieces. This is a great first jigsaw set. I also appreciate that each puzzle piece has a number on the back that corresponds to the number of pieces in a puzzle. This just makes it easier to find the pieces you are looking for.

I was super disappointed that I didnt get the monster ones that I ordered but my little one doesnt mind the ones that we received. Great quality and puzzles are perfect for age 2-4 maybe 5. My 2.5 year old is putting together the 2 piece, 4 piece and getting close on the 6 piece so I could see her playing with these for another year or so.

Great puzzles! As you can read, the box consists of 4 puzzles: - the turtle, made of 2 pieces - the fish, made of 4 pieces - the octopus, made of 6 pieces - the whole scene, made of 8 pieces On the back of each piece it is written the number of the puzzle, it is part of. For example 8, so that piece belong to the whole scene made of 8 pieces, or 4 so you know that that pieces is a part of the fish puzzle. It is actually useful to distinguish pieces from puzzle 6 from puzzle 8. My daughter (3 years old) can easily make all the puzzles up to 6, sometimes she needs some help with the 8 piece puzzle though. The quality is great and the design is cute. To be honest, I would have preferred having the whole scene different from the other three (so that it does not include the other three designs in it) because I think it could have been more interesting..but my daughter likes it and thats what matters. It is definitely good for either boys or girls.

The puzzles are great but would of preferred to receive the puzzles described in the description. I requested a replacement but still didnt receive the puzzles than what was shown and described.

This is a great gift for young dinasour lover. The sturdiness and thickness makes it great for little hands to put in the right spot.

My 2.5 year old son got a puzzle in his Christmas stocking, but it was 24 pieces and the concept utterly confused him. I searched for puzzles that had fewer pieces and found this set. It is very well constructed and great for introducing a child to puzzles. 2 pieces are so ridiculously easy anybody could get them, and from there the leap to 4, 6, and 8 pieces is fairly straightforward. It made so much sense to him! Additionally, the colors are mostly monotone, the animals bright and colorful, and the shapes unique enough so that its very easy to tell what hes making, increasing the ability to visualize what the end result would be. The pieces all come in the box, but are cleverly labeled on the back with either a 2, 4, 6, or 8, making it easy to separate out the puzzles. I wish other box set puzzle companies did this!
