> 3 dayIT was the perfect habitat for the Monarch caterpillars I raised - watching them gobble up milkweed each day was a treat. Then the caterpillars turned into Chrysalis - another treat to be seen very well in Lees Kritter Keeper - finally - chrysalis turning into Monarch Butterflies! and watching them fly South for the winter. I will store the KK until Spring when the drama begins once again.

> 3 dayI ordered this container to be a home for a Giant Desert Centipede. It is a great container for my centipede because the sides are tall enough that escape is impossible. The small feeding door on the top of the lid is easy to open. I do have to agree with the comment written by another person that the lid itself is difficult to remove. The lid is very tight and requires some perseverance to get off. For that reason, Ive given it four stars. Other than the lid being tricky to remove, I really like this container.

> 3 dayThe cage was the right size, but arrived with a HUGE crack. Back it went. Im re-ordering because we cant find another cage with its specs--Im hoping this time we will luck out. I will update this review with our experience once we receive the new cage. Update: Second time lucky---very happy with our purchase.

> 3 dayOf all the Kritter Keepers I have have had over the years, this is the one I am most unhappy with. I have three other X-Large sized cages at home, but they are more spacious than this one (hard to tell if supplied measurements were from base or top of cage), and that is what I had expected. Ive never seen a cage this size before. That aside, the main issue I have with this is that the lid does not come on and off easily. It is really tight on the main plastic cage and you really have to work at it to get it off. Usually lids I have had for all Kritter Keepers in the past come on and off easily once you pull out the little indented areas, but this one is way too tight and it really requires a lot of force to get it off.

> 3 dayWorks really well ! Bought this a few months would not use a heater. But the lid is extremely hard to get off it takes me about 10 minuets each time! I housed my 1 year old male betta he loves all the space he is use to a 3 gallon tank this is a 6 gallon... Would buy again... I did purchase another one later.

19-04-2025Works great for my gecko! The lid is very secure, even on the side of too difficult to remove, but kept her safe from my familys cats when I visited them!

17-04-2025Packaged great! Perfect for my cricket house. Lightweight (unlike a 10 gal aquarium), easy to clean. Con-- the lid is near impossible to remove, snapped on, now doesnt want to come off.

> 3 dayI had a sick betta in my 20 gallon. I grabbed this from a store along with a small filter and heater to make a quick quarantine tank and treat him. Worked perfectly and hes back in his habitat. I planned to remove it after but I still have this tank going, filled with plants. Will probably put some shrimp in it. For keeping fish long term Id recommend getting a larger setup, but this is perfect for a space-saving temporary housing.
