I got this as a recent AFOL. Always wanted an x-wing set ever since I was a little kid two decades ago. Love the technic mechanism in the wings. My only complaints are the static landing gear, the bare cockpit, and how high R2 is in the droid port. Though the droid port can be fixed by just not putting in the jumper plates.

This was the first large aircraft-like lego set my son has ever put together in one night. Now am I saying its easy, no. It was hard But he was so proud he just stuck to it. I say all this to mention the detail and craftsmanship that goes into these high-end lego sets. Its truly awe-inspiring. I had a ball just watching him do it. and for the price, I was not expecting a craft nearly as big as what he ended up with. The quality is amazing, the pieces were all there, and the instructions were easy to read 5 stars.

Was a gift for 9 y.o. grandson and he was very happy with it and was excited to start assembling. Said that he loves it!

Great to build but legos at exspensive

Great product, took a while to arrive but it got here. One happy 10 year old.

At first I thought this kit would be small and missing detail to represent this Star Wars ship. I was wrong! This kit is a very decent size as well there are plenty of details included. I really like that the wings move to form the X and the mechanism to make that happen was easy to assemble. Over all great kit. I will be buying another, and another :) Must re-create the scene for the run on the Death Star!!!

Didnt like price. Legos are too expensive.

This is a great build but on the backside and the wings are bit heavy so they do come apart easily. This Lego set is mainly to keep in one place. I’ve had people pick it up and the wings falling off. I did get the light kit for it and it took several hours to put together but at the end it does look good
