This is exactly how it is advertised and is right at the skill level it is advertised for. It is going to be more challenging for those who are inexperienced and younger. The instructions are easy enough to understand if you are used to the way Lego prints them. Looks great and is nice to add to the collection.

The big improvements of this set is the cost and the the removal of the previous rubber band system. I do like this set but it feels flimsy compared to the other X-wings and the Astromec slot is also too high. All around Id say its an okay set.

I bought this for my grandson. He absolutely loves it. He had his mother take a picture of him holding it after he assembled it. She sent it to me and he had the biggest smile on his face. He has thanked me several times for it. I definitely recommend this for any boy.
