I just finished it today, 6 hours work. Loved it all.

While I was a bit hesitant to decide if I wanted this ship, I ultimately went with yes being that it was on sale for 10 bucks off and its set to retire soon. Its a good way to get some of the main characters and a very popular ship for a nice deal, which I did not already have so it was worth it for me. The build process was a bit tedious surprisingly, but the outcome was definitely worth it. Lukes ship really does look awesome. Nice colors, good size and its very accurate to the movies. The minifigures all look great too! Especially Lukes. I recommend adding this iconic ship to your collection if you dont yet have an X-Wing!!

I bought this for my 9 year old niece. She, with some help from her dad put it together one afternoon. She absolutely loves it.

My son assembled a tie fighter while I assembled the X-Wing. We had so much fun, we bought one more of each and switched vehicles. We have also bought at least one more for a birthday gift. It is a great set and the attention to detail is amazing.

Most lego sets are too expensive for what you get, but I think this set is worth the money, its quite large when finished and it looks fantastic, plus the functional X-Wing mechanism works great and was fun to build.
