We ended up returning this set as this was an add on ($100 for this set) Having to invest in the starter and additional add ons, wasnt what we wanted to spend on these themed lego sets.

Delivered on time and packaged well. Loved the item.

My son received this as a birthday gift from my dad since he had been wanting it since last year. My biggest complaint is that the blocks don’t snap together securely so just applying a smidgen of pressure on a piece you’ve been working on for so long will cause it to seemingly explode in your hands and cause you to rage as you rebuild what you spent so much time and energy on as thoughts of giving up and leaving it incomplete runs through your brain. This has actually happened with a different Mario Lego set. I put it back together so many times that I literally gave up on it. What’s going on with Lego that their quality has gone down as their prices remain the same? It’s a great concept, lots of interactive pieces, but how can you play when everything crumbles around you at the slightest touch. It’s frustrating and unacceptable.
