My 8 year old is obsessed with legos and mario so what better gift? There is an app that goes with this set to show in 3d how to put it all together which means that its easy for him to do it himself! Be warned that the mario figure is not included in this set.

Wow. I can’t really believe it, but there are no written instructions included with this set. Mildly infuriating. I’m currently updating the iOS on my phone to be able to download the Lego app, to even be able to build this. Disappointing. I’m giving it 2 stars bc my kiddo thinks it’s cool... but just wow.

Fun to put together, terrible to play with. The design mechanics on this set are just a complete fail. The idea of stomping on different levers to launch things just doesnt work and you end up breaking the kit nine times out of ten just trying to do what the set is designed to do. My son was extremely disappointed. Bad showing from both Lego and Nintendo.
