It was loooooong over due to replace my filters. After first use I’m happy to share there’s no more smell when I vacuum.

It is for the new vacuum. Animal Ball, which is an awesome product on its own.

The old, original Dyson filter was pretty old, had seen a lot of use and was clogged enough, even after numerous washings to reduce suction so I purchased these. After installing the new filters, and testing it out there was this extremely loud and high pitched whistle, squeal that made me think a bearing had gone bad in the motor. Pulled the large, round filter out and ran it with no filter and it was normal. Put the second new filter in and it had the same exact extremely loud high pitched whistle/squeal. I was past the return date so I threw them away and order a different brand of filter and its been perfect ever since.

By price and quality this is five stars but my machine is now louder with this pre-filter.

Fits my Dyson Ball well. Gets the job done

Does the job.. though the manufacturing of the lower hepa filter is obviously not to spec. The filter has a howle that is extremely loud. I have tried both from the set. Remember as a kid putting a blade of grass between your thumbs .. imagine that with a jet engine behind it. Additionally, if that much air is being bypassed it stands to reason that the hepa filter will be rendered ineffective. Will not purchase again

I really only needed the flexible purple filters, but couldnt find them for sale on their own. I needed a replacement filter FAST because the old one was mildewed and SMELLY! These came quickly.

When operating the vacuum, it emits a very high frequency whine as air is pushed through the post filter in the ball. This is very annoying!

Replaced my original Dyson filters with this product and i couldnt tell a difference between the two and in reality the Amazon models looked better constructed than the Dyson pieces. I cant say in all honesty the Amazon are actually better as my old filters were pretty dirty so they werent working the best, the new filters did improve the vacuum ability but i dont remember how good those were when the vacuum was new.. New filters are definitely better than dirty ones thuough..
