The prefilter (located in the canister) is slightly shorter than original filter but seems to work. I exchanged both filters (prefilter and exhaust filter and after using the vacuum for about a minute the vacuum (Dyson DC65) began to emit a loud metallic sounding similar to fan blades rubbing or out of balance. I switched out the prefilter to the original and it sill made noise upon turning on. I then switched out the exhaust filter, back to original (not cleaned) filter there was no noise and the vacuum worked as before. I then tried the new prefilter with the old exhaust filter and the vacuum worked okay with no noise. Will be ordering OEM Dyson exhaust filter.

After just 3-4 months of light vacuum cleaner use, a screaming noise from my Dyson started to occur. From other reviews and information on the internet, this is typically a result of a dirty filter. In my case the filter still looks like new. I have traced the noise to the filter not seating correctly on the interface plate assembly gasket. Given the positive reviews, I believe the filter I received has a flaw where it does not seat properly allowing the air to pass around the filter and make an unbearable noise. Now I recognize the gasket might be worn, but when I replaced the filter with the 2nd filter the noise went away. Perhaps the manufacturer will send a replacement, and if it works Ill update this review.

The tube filter breaks off from the cap every so often so it gets compressed and 80% suction gets blocked. The disc shaped filter also makes weird sounds like its choking when vacuum is running, though suction wasnt affected. Does not happen with original disc shaped filter from Dyson.

I cant complain, I have purchased this product for the 3rd time. It works as expected for Dyson D65 animal. I dont wash my filter, I just replace both of these filters. That’s due to animal inside the house, it’s just personal preference.

The filters came neatly packaged. The pre-filters fit perfectly and functioned as intended. The HEPA post filters may be ok. They are shorter than the original equipment but since they are the correct diameter at the upper end they should work ok.

One of the long filters was not secured to the plastic bottom. The other three filters are fine and I need to use them now so don’t want to return the entire package. How do I have just the one piece replaced? I gave the “suction power” and “ value for money” three stars due to this one filter being unusable.

After many years of not changing the filters, I was shocked and horrified by what I found. I vowed to never again go more than a few months without changing or cleaning the filters. These are a great replacement option and there were no issues with fit. I was amazed at how much suction power my Dyson got back by changing the filters.

Virtually identical to the factory installed one. Great suction and easy replacement. Highly recommend.
