This is the gold standard for RJ45 modular jacks! Yes, they’re relatively expensive but worth the money. And paired with a Fluke Rapid Jack tool—you too can be an awesomely speedy network installer. I just finished a job and ran some CAT6A and terminated with these bad boys and they didn’t disappoint. 100% accuracy as long as you use the right color code sequence (568B is the go-to standard) and a Raid Jack tool. These are the best!

I used these jacks to terminate Cat6 cables for a backbone run in my house. Ive also tried it with Cat7 and it works just fine. Keep in mind this is an unshielded jack.

Install wasnt too bad, only part I wasnt sure about was after snapping the cover onto the back should the excess wire be cut off? I tested the connection with a light up tool, everything looked good. No complaints.

This RJ 45 is made for cat6 wire. The fitting is color-coded and comes with a tool to seat the wires, so you do not need a knockdown tool to install it. f you follow the color-coding, you can make a perfect connection. You need to purchase the specific wall plate for this to snap into, then it makes for a nice install. $8 for one fitting is pricey when I can buy these in bulk for less than a dollar from a distributor. I only needed one in this color, and time was a factor. I got this in a couple of days.
