> 3 dayLexar Jump Drives are the all time best!!! Im a writer and I love saving my work, as well as the pictures I take on my IPhone to these drives. I love the reliability and the size and the GB capacity. Ive bought some questionable jump drives in my day and Lexar is what I keep coming back to again and again. And they just keep on improving. Great company and product!!

> 3 dayPortable data storage devices have changed dramatically over the years. They have become much smaller while at the same time holding much more data and the price has fallen significantly. And the transfer rate is now blindingly fast. The Lexar 64 GB, USB 3.0 jump drive is a good example of the improvements made to portable storage devices. This jump drive sells for around $12 and will hold an amazing amount of data – 63 GB. So you really have room for your data files, and a lot of audio and video files. The transfer rate is very fast. These jump drives work on both PC and Mac devises and is compatible with USB 2.0. It does not need formatting, just plug it in and use it. I did not measure the transfer rate, but I was surprised at how fast my data files were transferred. There is a small cap cover to cover the USB connection when not in use. I’m totally satisfied with the functionality and price of the Lexar Flash Drive.

> 3 dayI used it to install Windows 10 on a PC, and it worked exactly the way it was supposed to. I just made sure to delete whatever those Lexi software files protection junk off the drive since I do not need them. It comes with 32 gb and it is fast.

> 3 dayI bought it and at the first time use it stop working. All of my valuable data lost. I called the company for data recovery and they said that they will not do anything. It is a fake product from a notorious brand. Do not buy it.

18-11-2024I was curious how much faster this 3.0 thumb drive is than the boxful of older USB 2.0 thumb drives Ive been using for a long time. Short answer: a LOT faster. To test, I used a USB 3.0 port in my computer and copied a 1.1GB file to it, then read the same file from it. Here are the results: Older 2.0 (SanDisk Cruzer) thumb drive - Write: 2 mins, 28 sec. Read: 38 sec. This Lexar 3.0 drive - Write 10 sec. Read: 7.5 sec. So its about 14 times faster to write to this drive and about 7 times faster to read. Thats significant. Two quibbles about this model: the cap is loose and is bound to get lost. Surprisingly, you cannot store the cap on the back end of the drive. The other quibble is the lack of an LED light to tell you when the computer is accessing the drive. Id pay a bit more for that. I never use encryption software or any proprietary software with my thumb drives so cannot comment on that. Overall, its an excellent, speedy thumb drive that has a losable cap and no LED.
