Greater than one weekUsing it with my iMac. After erasing and reformatting it for the Mac OS system, it works perfectly. Good price point.

Greater than one weekAmazing how much USB flash drives have gone down in price. 64 GB for a USB 3.0 for just a dozen dollars? Nice! Like many USB 3.0 drives from reputable brands, this is a fast performer, though not as fast as my Patriot Supersonic Rage drive. What I dont like about this Lexar drive, however, is that the USB portion is not retractable. It is instead protected by a cap that could be easily lost. In addition, as someone who is in IT Security, I do not like using a third party encryption software, especially when Lexar is now owned by a Chinese company where we may not easily be able to detect whether theres a backdoor left behind for the Chinese government. Id hate to bring this USB drive to China for work, only for the authorities there to be able to decrypt company secrets. Id rather much at minimum use encryption by the likes from Microsoft using its BitLocker technology, for example.

> 3 dayIn this time of distance teaching, sometimes one has to move files to areas where the cloud is not accessible, and drives like these are good off the grid. This handy thumb drive does the job, from the quarantined office to the parking lot laptop. Recommended.

> 3 dayThe video above cracks me up, as if all the cool kids use thumb drives. Nope, they all use the cloud and have no regard for privacy or security of their personal data. Not being credulous enough to trust the cloud with any of my own sensitive information, I prefer a hardware based solution. Being old enough to appreciate my own mortality and being a physician who knows how difficult it can be to make assessments in a vacuum, I carry this one with me travelling as convenient storage for my medical history, emergency contacts and advanced care directive. Ive had good luck with Lexar memory products over the years. They may not always be cutting edge in terms of specs but theyve been reliable, economically priced and performed well in my applications. This unit is no exception and at the price is a good value.
