LG 24GL650-B 24 Inch Full HD Ultragear Gaming Monitor with FreeSync 144Hz Refresh Rate and 1ms Response Time, Black

The LG 24GL650-B is an awesome gaming monitor with a lot of cool features. This monitor was a breeze to setup. It took me five minutes to get it up and running and even included a DisplayPort cable. I was able to obtain 144hz with the DisplayPort and HDMI wire with the latest version of Nvidia drivers for my GPU. The stand is pretty sturdy and allows tilt and height adjustments. Changing the monitor to show vertically for my Microsoft Excel spreadsheets really helps with productivity. There are different game modes that changes or enhances the picture. I prefer the normal presets as the colors can get really bright and dark with some of the options. I’m currently playing Gears 5, State of Decay 2, and Forza Horizon 4 on the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. I do notice minimal input lag compared to my previous 75hz monitor. Having the higher refresh rate definitely raises the competitive bar. Overall, this 1080p 144hz gaming monitor really checks all the boxes that I was searching for. The colors of the monitor seem pretty accurate out of the box. The red accents on the back of the monitor and leg stands go well with my PC setup. I’m really happy with my purchase and recommend to all gamers that want to game at 1080p. 144hz runs great with displayport. The stand is a little large but other than that great monitor.

We have a computer set up in our house for 4 gaming stations. This monitor is our latest addition and is part of a dual monitor station. It was incredibly easy to set up - no more than 3 steps. The most confusing part was there is a button for settings under the front of monitor (some are in the back and some are on the sides) where we needed to switch the input to DP. The screen kept showing to confirm ok for DP and I couldnt find where to confirm. Then my son who did the shopping found it for me and it worked immediately. Just know the controls are on the bottom front of the monitor. We had a side by side comparison of the monitor screens and this one is stellar. It is being used as the primary monitor of a dual monitor system set up. I would strongly recommend.

EASY PUT TOGETHER and Stable!

It does run smoothly. but there were two dead pixels right out of the box. absolutely terrible.

The color banding on this monitor is truly ridiculous, ruins any video with a hint of darkness in it. While the stand is great, the menus are unintuitive and the picture ruins the monitor for me.

The base/swivel is surprisingly sturdy and the monitor itself looks beautiful. Only nitpick would be some very minor backlight bleed but I only notice it on Beyond Two Souls so it could just be a Beyond thing
