LG 24GL650-B 24 Inch Full HD Ultragear Gaming Monitor with FreeSync 144Hz Refresh Rate and 1ms Response Time, Black

The LG 24GL650-B is an awesome gaming monitor with a lot of cool features. This monitor was a breeze to setup. It took me five minutes to get it up and running and even included a DisplayPort cable. I was able to obtain 144hz with the DisplayPort and HDMI wire with the latest version of Nvidia drivers for my GPU. The stand is pretty sturdy and allows tilt and height adjustments. Changing the monitor to show vertically for my Microsoft Excel spreadsheets really helps with productivity. There are different game modes that changes or enhances the picture. I prefer the normal presets as the colors can get really bright and dark with some of the options. I’m currently playing Gears 5, State of Decay 2, and Forza Horizon 4 on the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. I do notice minimal input lag compared to my previous 75hz monitor. Having the higher refresh rate definitely raises the competitive bar. Overall, this 1080p 144hz gaming monitor really checks all the boxes that I was searching for. The colors of the monitor seem pretty accurate out of the box. The red accents on the back of the monitor and leg stands go well with my PC setup. I’m really happy with my purchase and recommend to all gamers that want to game at 1080p. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review.

I dont know if its just the monitor I received or its just how LG TN panels, but the black uniformity on this is pretty bad, color becomes washed out during dark areas and it becomes somewhat grainy. Color banding is god awful especially in vibrant areas like over the water or the sky for pictures/games, as there are noticeable lines/washed edges across the color gradient. This ruins the otherwise smooth fast response time performance from the poor color ranges from this monitor, killing the immersion of videos and games. Im definitely returning. Hopefully this is just a lemon I got? Im too worried to rebuy this LG monitor so I went for another brand.

I have this as my off display for movies and what not. Great colors and no tearing with 144hz refresh!

This was a pretty good monitor especially for the price but unfortunately it had a dead pixel out the box. Then I got a replacement shipped and it too had a dead pixel. Just returning it and trying another brand. Shame.

Good quality monitor. My bf uses it for gaming on the new Xbox. Graphics are clear. The monitor does not have a sound system.

Works great, looks great! Didnt have to change the color or anything. Has customizable settings for things such as crosshair, game mode, input. Its perfect if you are on a budget Bought almost a year ago, still works perfectly no problems what so ever.

Ive had this monitor for about a month and I really like it! I like how the HDMI inputs are easy to access unlike other monitors.

Ive had this for a little less than a month and I have to say for my first actual monitor I am very happy with it. the bit depth is 8 and the color range is pretty good, I havent noticed any dead pixels so far either. the free sync hasnt had any problems and has improved my fps by a decent amount. but the viewing angle is a bit weird. also when I tilt the monitor it would be helpful for it to softly snap back into its default position when I rotate it, idk if its just me but I feel like Im going crazy trying to get the monitor perfectly adjusted and not slightly tilted, its not a big deal though btw Im using this for my laptop, no problem running 144 hz, but for gaming it depends on how much fps youre computer can render. but yeah if youre getting this for your first monitor you will be very satisfied!
