> 3 dayThe monitor arrived with a dead pixel which is very annoying. It had to be a black pixel too in the top middle of the screen. I had the old version of this monitor for 5 years and it never gave me any trouble until lightning blew it up.

> 3 dayEspecially for the price, I am really satisfied with this really wide screen monitor. It is a little sad that for anything that would prefer full screen (such as games) is extremely impractical, and having black bars on videos is kinda bleh. But for what I bought it for: Having open my book, website, and spreadsheet without alt-tabbing, oh my god, I love it. This will easily pay for itself in the sheer increased amount of productivity I can get with it. I just wished there was an easy way to just mount this thing up above my primary monitor so that I dont have to have some awkward setup, and need to turn around to see the full screen.

> 3 dayI have owned this monitor for almost 2 years now. Pros: Basically dual monitors with no bezel. I can easily place two windows side by side without compromise. Thin bezel Good color Cons: The stand wobbles like crazy during normal use. As I am typing the whole monitor wobbles. Pixel density is noticeable. Not great at all. This is my biggest complaint with the monitor but it is expected for the price. Overall a good value

> 3 dayThe reason I got this particular monitor is because Id purchased its smaller, older sibling, the LG 29UM-68-P, and been extremely happy with it. Its basically the 2016 29-inch version of this monitor. Both are incredibly bright and crystal clear, and Ive never had a complaint about the 29 model. This one happens to be even cheaper (even at that time of this writing, $368 vs $299), so I thought, why not? For the most part, Im pleased with it, though color accuracy leaves something to be desired. Not only can I now see that the 29 model has a slight red cast, Im left with a slight green cast on the 34 (hard to see in the photo, but its there). Ive fiddled with settings but never been able to get either of them to match or get one or the other closer to pure white. I have half a mind to get a colorimeter because frankly it drives me a little nuts. Also, either because of the sheer size or because people complained, the VESA mount doesnt partially block the video connections (looking at you, 29) - everything is easily accessible. If this will be your *sole monitor* then I couldnt recommend it enough. If this will add to an existing monitor you might want to look elsewhere, or be prepared to spend time fidgeting with controls to get it to look right. Still, all that being said, I do love it, and if the news that NVIDIA will be adding Freesync compatibility in an upcoming driver release is true, Ill be even happier when gaming with it! Edit 1/15/19: The Freesync compatible NVIDIA driver released today and while its not one of the approved monitors it does appear to be working without any issues. I also bought a colorimeter but have yet to have any luck with it. Also, wanted to add that the joystick control is probably the easiest of any monitor control out there. Push away from you for up, towards you for done up to enter/select. I dont have to try and remember how to use it - its that intuitive.

> 3 dayAs soon as the monitor was delivered, I opened the box with the excitement. During the assembly, I found two screws were missing that tighten up between monitor and body mount. I called the customer service but found they can ship the material in 2 weeks, not a good option. The next day early in the morning, I rushed into Home Depot and bought M4-10mm screws and fits great. I am very satisfied with graphic quality. I used Displayport to enjoy full 2560x1080 resolution rather than HDMI port.
