> 3 dayExactly what I thought, only negative is Itunes does not recognize it as an HD monitor and will not play HD DMR movie content on it. If you just want more quality screen real estate to work on this is good. Or if you are video producer or photographer who does not have a great need for perfect color calibration.

13-06-2025A great monitor, I have not tried the freesynch as I do not have an AMD card yet but the color/brightness/contrast are very good. There is no noticeable ghosting to me. I would recommend this monitor if you are looking for a 1080p ultrawide.

> 3 dayThis has 75Hz which is nice while gaming, it also has decently thin bezels (pictures are false and misleading; actual bezels are about 1cm). The pixels arent extremely noticeable, but noticeable enough to remind you that it is a 34inch 1080p monitor. Overall, amazing price, and works great.

> 3 daySo I shopped around quite a bit before landing on this wide screen. In my price range I finally decided that LG was the best fit but then I was amazed at how many different models there were just in the 34 size! The reason I chose this one? There were certain features I thought were critical in choosing an entry level wide screen monitor: 1) Size, 34 seems to be the sweet spot. Not sure why someone would buy a 29 widescreen. Seems like a waste for what youd get. 34 on the other hand provides a pretty amazing viewing experience. 2) The Display Port connection. The monitor for my other computer is a 27 4K with a Display Port and it does make a huge difference. Using HDMI you cant get the 60mghz needed to obtain the kind of picture youd want with this widescreen experience. 3) The price was certainly right! The higher end wide screens with 144ghz rates are just too expensive. At $300, this particular LG model is a fantastic value IMHO. 4) Yes this model does force you to give up having an adjustable stand but Ive rarely used the adjustment with my previous monitors so I dont really miss it here. 5) Easy setup with the ability to customize. This unit was easy to setup and adjust for all of my games. It is a terrific gaming monitor for casual gamers like myself. I do wish the power / setup button was in a different place, but Im used to it now. All in all, I dont think you can go wrong with this monitor. Im very happy with my purchase. And the delivery was right on time with the unit was received in perfect unopened condition, exactly as described. So unless you want a top of the line monitor for some big time gaming or video work and have upwards of $1,000 to spend , I think this would be a really good choice.
