> 24 hourIPS just doesnt have the contrast ratio to put up with in moody movies or scary scenes BUT otherwise this monitor is pretty brilliant. Its my 1st IPS screen, other than that Ive had many others like it. I love how the viewing angle means the top and bottom of the screen are always the same. So many VA and TN panels have that viewing angle where you can never get the top bright enough without washing out the bottom. Now everything at the top of every page is perfectly colored like the rest of the screen. Which itself is clear, large, stays clear under high movement in the right settings. Notable gripes: The power cord barely reaches the floor, depending on your desk. Best to have an under-table power strip on the back of your desk for this one, but the plug is also a big wall wart (with the prongs directly on the wart) which is such an ancient design choice I went digging for extension cables I used to use with my Genesis/32X/Sega CD setup from when I was a kid. But thats literally the worst part of experiencing this monitor so only one star off.

> 24 hourExcellent monitor for the price point - Id describe it as mid-tier for gaming. HDR is a little bit on the basic side (to be expected with HDR 10) but having 165hz refresh at 1440p at this price point on a name brand like LG was a great deal in my opinion.

> 24 hourIt is solid 33inch monitor that have no issues. I am not FPS gamer so I am not sure whether the monitor is good for FPS but games such as League, Starcraft, minecraft, etc. were great

> 24 hourThis is from the perspective of a PC/Xbox player: Great monitor so far! Came in today, messed around with some settings and it looks and runs fantastic! Definitely recommend if youre planning on switching between PC and console gaming. Looks awesome on PC and Xbox as well. 10/10

> 24 hourI wanted a high-resolution monitor for general usage. The monitor is advertised for gaming, so maybe thats all it should be used for. Pictures and video seem to be fine, but it lacks detail and is fuzzy when looking at some text, even when set to the highest resolution. It also has a slight shadow effect in the brightness that extends about an inch and a quarter inward from the left and right sides of the screen. I wanted to use it for cad drawings that require a lot of detail which this monitor doesnt provide, so I will be returning it.

> 24 hourGreat monitor with good color and brightness. I bought this monitor based on reviews, price and G-sync capabilities. I wanted everything I could out of my expensive video card and this monitor delivered! IPS panel and 1ms response time. Well packaged but keep in mind it is shipped in the monitor box so beware of porch pirates! If I had the desk space and the money, I would buy 2 more.

> 24 hourThis is a great monitor I use it for both my PS5 and PC. I think most other reviews cover the PC gaming aspect so I dont need to talk about that. So the PS5 performance with this monitor is great it actually does do 4k @60fps though its actually im assuming down sampling, not true 4k but its just as smooth and sharp as my true 4k tv. Im sure that adds lag but a monitor that runs 1ms response time I dont notice a difference in response time from my PC to ps5 other then the smooth 165fps on my PC. With that being said 4k on the ps5 isnt necessary for gaming soon as Sony said the next update will support 1440p anyway and Im hoping that will include 120hz with that resolution. I think this is a great monitor for the price unless you have the 600.00 or so dollars to spend on a 4k 120hz+ monitor. I mostly play apex legends and battlefields

> 24 hourthe picture is amazing. this is my first IPS monitor and i bought it not even having a nvidia card. the ghosting i was getting on my asus tuf 32 is almost non existent on this one using out of the box settings. i havent even touched the settings. the inputs on the back make it hard to wall mount so i had to get an angled DP adapter. ive only been using it for about an hour now but it seems like the sides are pushed back. i dont know if this is a possible return issue or if its simply coming from someone who has been using curved monitors for a long time.
