I purchased this monitor for its high refresh rate but it disappointed. The picture quality and refresh rate was lower than the LG monitor that was rated 75Hz (LG 34WN650-W). comparing the two side by side, the 34WN650 had a much crisper picture and better for watching sports, and therefore gaming.

I spent a lot of time researching IPS vs Nano IPs, OLED vs non OLED, 1440 vs 4k, and on and on. It seems like theres always something better or faster to spend money on , but I wanted to be sensible in my spending, so I ordered this monitor without being able to see it in person. Ive only had it for a few weeks but Im super happy with my purchase. Out of the box, it looks great, and I didnt have to fiddle with settings to get it right. It just works and works great. My games, Youtube videos, work stuff, etc all look excellent. This is now my 5th LG purchase and I will continue to buy LG. I have two older TVs that have worked great, and two other monitors that also worked great. So, I highly recommend this monitor.

This monitor is as smooth and snappy as my Benq XL2411k TN panel. The performance difference is indistinguishable despite this monitor being much larger. I was willing to sacrifice some responsiveness or input lag for more game immersion, but now I dont have to. It delivers great as an IPS panel with high brightness, good colors and minimal light bleeding in the corners of the monitor (not noticeable while gaming, only when turning on). I bought and returned at least 6 other monitors / tvs in search of the best responding larger display. If youre on the fence, just buy this especially while its under $400. Amazon returns are easy if not, I would know :)

On paper the specs are very solid for the price point -- 32 inch, 1440p, IPS, 165hz. Had to downsize to one monitor coming from 3x24inch monitors and overall, I’m pretty pleased with this monitor so far. In my opinion, 1440p is the perfect resolution for 32 inches because without scaling the text in 4k would be too small and straining for the eyes. I wanted an IPS, something with decent color that I could use for movies, minimum 144hz refresh rate and low response time for gaming, and non-curved. I wasn’t looking for something curved because I need the maximum amount of space for my desk (curved takes more space) and because I think watching movies on a curved monitor is silly. My decision was between this and the Samsung Odyssey G5 and I ended with the LG because of it being IPS and non-curved. Very smooth gaming with 3080ti and solid refresh rate so no complaints. Colors are okay. Not as deep and saturated as other monitors but I’m okay with having something less vibrant by default. You can always go into the picture settings and adjust the contrast and color temp to your liking. ~92 PPI and you dont really notice anything being too pixelated on-screen. Monitor menu system is pretty good. Very responsive and smooth but some settings are disabled in picture adjust when using display port version 1.4 for some reason. Had to switch to 1.2 to enable the rest of the options in picture adjust. Not that it’s a big dealbreaker since the bandwidth for 1.2 is still good for 1440p 144hz but not that intuitive. Overall, this monitor works for my situation and I’m very satisfied with it.

The screen looked great. Nice and very bright. Colors aren’t the most accurate if you’re doing any sort of video/photo editing. But I think everything besides the fact the monitor is a good looking monitor. I only had one big issue. The screen would flicker sometimes when on white pages. It would flicker on and off whenever it wanted to. I wasn’t taking the chance of it flickering more or get worse in other ways so I decided to return it before my return window was closed. I tried messing with the settings for refresh rates and different cables as well. Overall if it didn’t have the flicker issue, it’s a great looking monitor.

I purchased this monitor mid, October 2022. I got it because the reviews were great. I use it for my pc to use with my gforce 3060 and g-sync. I play warzone on 1440p and 120hz no problem with no picture issues or tearing. I also use my XBOX Series X on the monitor running 2022 Modern warfare 2 at 1440p with 120hz no issues at all. My XBOX said the monitor will run 4k 60hz and played MW in that setting but my PC said thats not possible. Im a big LG tv fan and own 75 4k, 55 4k, 55 1080p (over 10 years old) and a 42 1080p with no issues ever. Last note: The first monitor that was delivered from amazon was broken, kept flickering for no reason. Amazon sent me out a replacement the next day.. The 2nd monitor worked perfect.
