I got this for $299. Its a steal for that money. It dont have a ton of features but the screen is way better than I expected. It could be a bit brighter but its fine. Minimal backight bleed or IPS glow. Great stand feature wise but you want it on a sturdy table as it will amplify any table wiggles. If its under $400.00 go for it, more you may do better feature wise else, but youll have to spend over that a fair bit to get a noticeably better screen.

Let me say up front that I am not a gamer. Im a seasoned citizen who decided to try a 32 monitor as an upgrade to my 27 unit. The verdict? I love it! Larger type sizes for my older eyes. Great brightness and color accuracy. Fantastic video playback appearance. I cant speak to every detail of the technical specs, but I can say that it is hard to beat this monitor at the price point for general all around use.

Excellent monitor for the price point - Id describe it as mid-tier for gaming. HDR is a little bit on the basic side (to be expected with HDR 10) but having 165hz refresh at 1440p at this price point on a name brand like LG was a great deal in my opinion.

After going through 3 monitors which had lots of dead pixels this one developed sudden image retention burnin after 6 months of ownership. Do not but. Not worth the headache.

While the monitor I received was otherwise impressive (aside from expected IPS glow), either I received a defective monitor, or the color accuracy is just very bad. There is a very noticeable red tinge on left side of the screen. No amount of settings tinkering could fix this. I initially though this was tied to HDR, but its the same with or without HDR.

It’s a meh screen. Not the best not the worst. Regret buying the 32 inch looks like a tv but Refresh Rate is good. 300 for 1440p and from lg. I was oh boy that’s a steal. But comes with a decent quality display port cable and the installation is very simple. HDR is a gimmick makes the colors look washed out.

Pros: - Daily driving it at 4k@144hz 8bit 4:2:2 - Its fast, very fast. Its significantly faster than my past VA and TN panels. - The HDR 400 is not a total disaster in some games and video content - It does 4k@144hz if you know what you are doing - Excellent brightness - 180hz is fast enough for competitive gaming - Supports Displayport 1.4 Cons: - 32 is too big for 1440p in my opinon - The 32GQ850@240hz is a much better buy for $500ish - No local dimming - Only one displayport port - Does not support DSC - HDMI 2.0 Overclocking: My sample would not overclock beyond 180hz at any resolution 4k@120hz 8bit 4:4:4 - Yes 4k@138hz 10bit 4:2:2 - Yes 4k@144hz 8bit 4:2:2(requires some tricks) - Yes

All about the pannel lottery is all I can say. Got this during christmas for $350. Best deal Ive ever seen and couldnt pass it up, after almost a week I reccived it well packed, there are NO IMPERFECTIONS at all. Lg ultragear lineup has really stepped its game up the past few years, Id say this monitor is just about as good as you can get for the price, even off brand competitors are struggling to keep up nowadays due to samsung, benQ and LGs wonderful prices. 5 stars for a powerful 2 k monitor. Works on pc xbox ps4 ect . Works WONDERFUL for playing classic retro games from your ps1 or ps2.
