> 3 dayAfter using computer projectors for years, the LG CINEBEAM DLP Projector Model PF50KA is a great choice for either home / portable theater scenarios or for computer projection. It’s lightweight, portable, AND can run on the built-in battery for up to three hours. I can see a potential for temporary outdoor movie screenings in the summer, for office projection, and even home theater with a crisp white, flat screen. Note that I tested this in a semi-dark room on an empty bedroom wall. I don’t have a theater set up (yet). However, my main use for this device is as a portable computer projector to replace my old, broken Dell projector. The Good: - Easy to set up and use right out of the box - MANY input options—Ethernet, USB and USB-C, 2 HDMI inputs, and even an antenna input - Crisp, clear picture. My powerpoint presentation was crisp, and my Satellite TV picture was clean with no jitter or lag. - Good picture even in a light room The somewhat mediocre - There was a wizard to utilze the ‘magic’ remote that came with the box to control my DirecTV set-top box. The set-up options were less than stellar. It didn’t work. - Moving from input to input is cumbersome. It would be nice to be able to easily change inputs. - For an LED projector, this got HOT. I didn’t expect that. - The fan is at the top of the box, and the plastic isn’t rigid. Be careful when you pick it up—don’t do so with one hand or you may press on the fan. - Adjusting the screen size—there is NO way to adjust the screen projection size EXCEPT by placing the box closer/farther away from the screen. - Keystone adjustment is awkward. In general, I think this is a pretty sold choice for a projection device. I like the crisp, clear projection of my computer screen (my primary use case) and will also enjoy the TV/video options here.

> 3 dayI ordered this unit and it worked they way it was supposed to, but I did return it for a different projector that better fit my need. Unfortunately after I returned it the seller did not issue me my credit after having had it back in their possession. I had to hunt down through Amazon a credit return.

> 3 dayIt is small easily carried in suitcase or even comiter bag. Image looks good though not sure would go out to full 100 inches as around 72 is most Reason for 4 stars as though comes with LG smart app it does have ability to do amazon as just has Netflix and Hulu which for many will be fine. Not sure why as other LG smart devices do. Ended up returning and getting not smart projector and buying a roku stick

> 3 dayIt would be perfect if it had a drop down adjustment foot for height. We have had to use various shims depending on where we put it.

> 3 dayI really like this projector but out of nowhere it started getting lines on the image. Still probably will look into getting it fixed but it’s still a good projector.

> 3 dayThe product is awesome, the only thing that i wasn’t totally satisfied was the brightness, but since is only 600 lumens I guess it is expected. However still very good

> 3 daydoes what i expected, affordable 1080p projector with decent image and lumens for a darker room smart features didnt matter to me, i have an nvidia shield that does everything into hdmi 1 fan noise and bluetooth range didnt matter to me, i use WF-1000XM3 headphones via bluetooth to the shield keystone left to right would be nice, this only does vertical so you need to be centered on your projection angle some reviews/questions seem a bit confused on the zoom...this projector does zoom, but it also doesnt...that is to say, the projected image size is solely dependent on how close or far away you are from the surface youre projecting onto...that cant be altered...there IS a zoom setting in the menus, but its for zooming in/out on the image itself...imagine looking at the camera view on a phone, where the phone size stays the same but takes up more or less of your field of view depending on how closely you hold it to your eyes...but you can also pinch to zoom in/out on the image displayed on the screen and THAT is the only zoom capability you have on this projector

> 3 dayOverall we have thoroughly enjoyed this projector. There are only a few things keeping this from being a five star projector in my opinion. At this price point you would like to see an autofocus and some sort of zoom capability. The focus lever works fine, but other models at this price point have that autofocus. Also the remote basically has to be within 3 ft of the projector to work. Still not a deal breaker. The quality of the image is what makes it all worth it though. The picture is excellent and still clear when there is some light which is great at this price point.

> 3 dayThis projector is superb! Its like Im watching on a very HD LED tv. Portable and lightweight, all pack with almost everything you need. The only thing is, I don’t figure out how to connect through airplay, or maybe there is no airplay but miracast. Overall, I dont regret buying this projector, it is worth the price..
