Greater than one weekOverall very nice There was one Sata connection I couldnt use due to the case design, but no big deal Fans are big, and beutiful ARGB, but loud I wish the ARGB hub supported RGB so I could use the cases front panel switch to control my AIO No power/hdd lights or reset button, which is fine by me LOTS of space and ventilation inside, and very good access

> 3 dayThe lancool 205 is an ultra budget, completely barebones case that is priced as a mid range/semi-premium chassis solely off of its brand name. Unfortunately it only besmirches the reputation that lian li has built up through its other cases. This case lacks 360mm rad support, a mesh front (airflow is definitely a concern for this one), and rubber grommets for cable management, which is quite disappointing for the general price this case is usually found at. The build quality on the 205 isnt great either-- some of the thinner metal (especially near the PSU basement panel corners) in the removable panels bends incredibly easily. Additionally, the thumbscrews dont all go in straight either on my unit (the panel and main chassis are misaligned). Dont get me wrong, it is a functional case that will likely meet your needs, especially if you are a beginner builder who doesnt particularly care about airflow or wont be opening the case up to do maintenance often, which is the only reason I didnt take off more stars. But quite frankly there are strictly better options available for the same price (cooler master, phanteks, msi, etc. all have better offerings at the ~70-80 dollar price point so just take your pick).

> 3 dayThis case is excellent if you 1) have a modular PSU, and/or 2) dont plan on using 3.5 drives. The PSU and storage compartment is extremely small and the 3.5 drive cage is not placed forward enough. 3.5 drive installation is also not tool-less, something even my old Apevia case managed to pull off. Installation of storage is clearly aimed at the gamer sub-culture, and as a result managing the PSU cables was and will be a nightmare (I have no idea how to use extension cables yet). The opaque side panel also does not have enough clearance to avoid SATA power pressing against it, creating a bow, so at least its going to be easy to decide how to place the case! The system header, including USB 3,come pre-managed, which is a great touch, unfortunately the case doesnt have a hardware reset button. ATX stems were premounted, making the motherboard install nice and quick if you have an ATX case. The pre-installed fans are configured push-pull, and when they run they are nice and quiet, all together air flow seems decent at least for mainstream CPUs. One big gotcha was that manual wasnt updated (or I received an older production run), and doesnt mention that the PSU and storage shelf is fixed in place by a screw, which wasnt the best experience to have, at least nothing got bent before I noticed the black screw on the black background. The tempered glass panel is definitely a place where no corners were cut, and its got a good heft to it, and does survive a small slip on harder surfaces. Overall the case is very nice when you are building a PC from scratch or arent going to use spinning rust for mass storage.

> 3 dayWhen I bought this case, I was worried the great looks I saw in the thumbnail would be a front of a crappy poorly designed cheapo looking product in real life. I was pleasantly surprised to find the case lives up to its great looks and has a great build design. I really like the harddrive and power supply bay, as it just makes the build clean and keeps the clutter away from the view through the glass panel.

> 3 dayAwesome Tower I made a destiny build, slapped a destiny 2 logo on the front panel, a Ghost replica on top.. Chucked in an Rtx 2080 super in there, threw in a ryzen 7 7300x, Slapped on an ASUS rog Strix b450f When i powered on... When i powered on ... it... it....it flew from my desk, and left a hole in my ceiling... hasnt came back yet If you look out your window on a cloudless night, and peer up you would see my PC hovering around the big dipper, giving a shine with a little glimmer. Thats my pc

> 3 dayThis case keeps my Ryzen 5 3600 stock cooler and RTX 2060 OC cool as if it is open air. The two fans included I put in the front of the case and I put 3 120mm 900rpm fans in the back. Cable management is also great but it can take some time to figure it out. The fans install onto removable metal housing and they are easy to deform! You must only hold onto the fan when tightening the screws or the plate can warp which makes it hard to install into the case. Otherwise I have had no problems and highly recommend this case. FYI the glass does not dampen much noise so if you need a silent build, you must have quiet parts

> 3 dayIts Lian Li, what do you expect? The package was damaged when it arrived, but the case was perfect condition so no issues from the damage. I like the all black front panel connectors so they blend in instead of the ugly colored cables. The one downside to this case is not a lot of cable management space. Its not bad if you dont use sleeved cables and fan/light hubs. Overall I got it to work though and am happy with it.

> 3 dayThis case is not the greatest case in the world. The magnetic filter on the top slides around too much. The side panels dont have the greatest fit tolerances Ive ever seen on a case. The hard-drive bay in the bottom is virtually useless, because you cant run any significant number of power cables past them from the PSU to the rest of the computer. The cables running to the daughter board are delicate to the point where I was concerned about accidentally damaging them. There are a lot of individual screws, many of which I really wish were captive so you didnt have to worry about loosing/misplacing them. The metal outside panels are flimsy and a bit thin. There are no good dust-filters built into the system. But despite all these shortcomings, Im very happy with this case. The fans are great, relatively quiet and with fancy lights that plug onto the RGB header on your motherboard. Youve got a great selection of front IO ports, though most budget oriented motherboards out there that Ive seen dont have a USB C header, making the inclusion of a USB C port for front IO a bit of a waste. I would have rather seen a 3rd non-USB C port, but the 2 that are there are certainly welcome. The air flow is great, keeping my GPU and CPU cool with only an additional CPU cooler needing to be installed (Ryzen 5700x and Radeon 6700xt). The case was shipped with good packing materials, making me optimistic that the glass panel would not be damaged in transit. The instructions arent the best Ive ever seen, but I was able to follow them without any great degree of trouble. Youve got good Sata SSD mounts hidden between the motherboard panel and the outside non-glass panel. Cable management options are (hard-drive bay aside) excellent, with lots of intelligently placed gaps and clear routing lanes. Its well optimized, so the case doesnt have any huge dead zones of empty space, and as a result is more compact than you might expect from a desktop case. It supports a variety of configurations, and in a PC where you dont have a GPU that requires dedicated PCIE power cables, you might have the space for the hard drive bay in the bottom. For a budget case, you get a clear priority of functionality > aesthetics > build quality here, while not sacrificing too much to the point where it becomes a liability. If youre trying to save a bit of money on your case, I can certainly recommend this one.

> 3 dayThis case is wonderful! The airflow and build quality is exactly what you expect from Lian Li but my only issue is that it does not entirely fit a full ATX board and a 280mm AIO when it’s mounted in the top of the case. 4.5 stars imo
