Umbrella looks really cool but if it catches a little bit of wind, it folds inside out quickly and also my flashlight stopped working after a few weeks.

These are neat umbrellas. The middle of the handle unscrews and that is where the battery compartment is. The 3 AAA batteries (not included) fit into a cylindrical chamber. Once the batteries are in, there are 2 light options. Press the button on the very end of the handle, which is actually the flashlight itself. Then there is a little black button about halfway up the handle. This controls the lightsaber lights. Press this button to turn on and then press again to turn off. Repeat this process to cycle through the various lights colors. Its pretty snazzy and even the tip of the umbrella lights up. The umbrella itself seems decent too. After all, we still need a good functioning umbrella. It has good coverage and is easy to open and close. The umbrella is a tad long, not compact. It still fits in my trunk just fine.

These umbrellas are actually pretty good. Ive been looking at others the same price but you only get one. Here you get 3 as advertised. The umbrella shaft is bright and you can switch to any color you want and to my surprise the flashlight is really bright. The only downside I could see is they dont come with a carry case like some others, but I wouldnt carry it across my back anyway so that doesnt matter. They do have a wrist loop though. Also, the umbrella shaft does scratch easily. All mine came with some defects of that sort. It didnt bother me as I know that would happen with use anyway. I havent taken them out in very windy conditions...I usually dont go out when there is a lot of rain and wind but in a normal rain storm they work just fine. The supports appear to be either a fiberglass or plastic but Ive seen metal ones that break or snap just as easily, so again, Im not worried. Especially for the great price. The ends are also covered in plastic which is nice for kids I imagine. Ive only had these a few weeks so time will tell in regards to longevity.

I thought these were very unique! I love the colors of the handle. They really look good. The kids really liked it too. It is also nice that it gives you a little light. It is great for a theme park or when you are out and about. The qaulity seemed fine. They worked okay. They opened and closed very smoothly. They stayed open okay. It is really nice that you get a set. I think that it is neat that you get 3 different types. It is a decent value. I liked these and would recommend them.

I think these light up umbrellas are one of the most clever inventions of the 21st-century! Tap the bottom of the umbrella and you get a small flashlight. press the button on the handle and the entire Stemma number Ella lights up either red blue green purple or clear. Love it! It’s a good deal on three, comes with a clear umbrella a black umbrella and a gray One. I bought these for my friends who walk their dogs early in the morning or late at night. You do have to push the umbrella open till it catches but it’s easy to close it’s a good size for one person I think you could crowd two people under it. it’s a full adult side umbrella might be a little too big for a small child to use on their own which is too bad because they have a lot of fun with it.

I use the clear one most often for walking on raining darker streets. The lighted pole gives me confidence that drivers can see me, vinyl of the umbrella is holding up well after about 10 uses so far. Cons are that the pole light is v.easy to turn on so gripping the handle means you are constantly turning on the pole, without meaning to. The light in the handle provides only dim assistance but that is not why I purchased. Biggest con is that the mechanism doesn’t have a catch to keep the umbrella open, so it sort of pops into open position. Every single time I open it, I forget that there is no catch and just push it up. Every time, my thumb is pinched into the barrel during the pop process. It hurts and is annoying.

all 3 umbrellas tested out, all functional. Awesome light changes and it also has a color transition effect! Flashlight is a great idea and quite handy. It also comes with a wrist strap. The pop up function of the umbrella glides very smooth and locks into place. It glides to close very easily too. Ive always disliked the little metal piece that holds the umbrella open, and this product doesnt have it! These umbrellas are quite well made and stylish. I especially like the clear bubble umbrella so I can see where Im going! Great gift idea and quality product!

The black and grey are a great value and made of nice material. The clear is very flimsy. However- for the value… these are great. So handy and so much fun.
