Easy to install. Ive had no problems with my garage door opener now that the new board is installed. Previously, my garage door would open on its own whenever it wanted (like a ghost was opening it). Glad I ordered the new control board and installed it myself to save $150 service and increase charge on the part.

There was an electrical short in my old Linear garage door opener control board. I bought this through Amazon and it arrived quickly with expedited shipping. It cost me $60 to have it installed professionally. It works perfectly.

I choose 5 stars because of how satisfied i am with the product and how easy it was to install. You just need to connect the wires (easy), screw the board into place (easy) and connect the two plugs (super easy). Only extra work i had to do was reprogram my car to it and that took less than 5 mins as well. I saved about $140 dollars of labor from estimates i received but was scared to do it myself. Other reviews I read gave me the confidence to tackle it myself and sure enough im on to my next DIY project!
