> 3 dayVery quick fix. Dont pay other people to do it! My garage one day just stopped working. No power to any remotes or lights. After plugging in a charger to the outlet and deciding that the outlet was good. I figured it was the actual unit that had gone bad. After dissembling the unit, and some quick online search. I found that the control panel had gone bad. Some garage units separate the control panels into 2 pieces. Lucky for us this type was only 1. Therefore I knew it was all or nothing. I would recommend all to wait until you get the control panel in the mail before disassembling the old one. Because there are 3 wires to remove on top with a Phillips and they must be reinstalled in the same order. All in all it was 2 screws to dismount, 3 wires on top, and 2 unplug and replug wires. Very simple installation. After installation the garage would only go a couple of feet and stop and blink 4 times. I thought I had gotten a bad unit but on the side of the unit, you can control the force used to open and close the garage. Since it was shipped at the lowest setting. The garage thought there was something in the way stopping it therefore it stopped. After readjusting those switches. It worked better then before!
