LINEAR Garage Door Openers HAE00040 Control Board LSO, LDO

My garage door would open or close a few inches and the unit kept giving me 4 blinks indicating it was obstructed. Called a garage door service company and it was going to cost $200 for the board and then 1 to 2 hours for install. I bought it here for less than $60 and installed it in 3 minutes. Works perfectly. Note: Literally an 8 year old could install this; dont be scared. ;)

Absolutely simple job to do yourself. The other reviews explain the simple steps. Took me 15 minutes to be back up and running. Had to turn the open and close force screws a 1/4 turn and tune the remote. So easy. Saved $85 call out fee and $90 labor by buying the part and doing it myself. Dont pay a contractor to do this!!!!!!

This was one of the easiest DIYs Ive ever done. When I realized this was my problem (shorted out by power surge) I ordered one of these. It shipped so quickly! I took the old one off my garage door with a screwdriver, snapped it out, snapped this one in, tightened it down and the garage worked perfectly! Amazing buy!

Worked perfectly. No instructions so would recommend photographing the connections of the old board prior to installing the new one.
