Loctite Threadlocker 242, 50mL Bottle, Blue

you must follow the directions exactly, and make sure its within experation date!

The 242 is a great product. It holds your hardware from loosening and will break free once you are ready to remove it. I highly recommend this product. I use this on almost all my hardware at assembly time.

Building an engine up, my ARP flywheel bolts called for this as a thread sealant, so i bought a nice sized little bottle. I ended up using this on nearly every bolt during the assembly process. holds well, stands up to oil, and removal is not too difficult. Ill keep this as my go-to blue/medium strength thread locker.

Its the blue goo. What else do you need to know?

Great threadlock and the price is really good.

For those who don’t know why the bottle is half empty, Loctite is anaerobic. It needs half bottle of oxygen to remain liquid.

Excellent Product

Bottle is quite large, but the product is over half empty, just fill the bottle and charge more, or shrink the bottle and stop being misleading. It gets a middle of the road review because of this issue. The loctite itself works well, no issues there.
