> 3 dayScroll wheel texture is too smooth while the scroll wheel is harder to spin, especially when compared to the G305, which is of a similar size. I find that I have to constantly strain my index finger just to scroll. You need to actually press down more to get a grip to the point it is almost unusable for its scroll-wheel. This is probably the worst design flaw about this mouse and why I gave it one star. Trust me and get another mouse, the scroll wheel barely has any texture, it feels like youre dragging your finger along something covered in flour, and you will have to strain your index finger to press down to scroll. To top it off, the scroll wheel is also harder to push to start scrolling compared to G305 and other mouses. So the smooth texture and the harder activation force makes the scroll wheel absolute trash. The only reason I got G705 is because it is slightly smaller and I want to see if it will also have the double-click issue that G305 has. The cursor is also imprecise. Sometimes the cursor moves in a completely different direction then the direction of my hand at low speeds. For an $80, this is really disappointing. This is probably because it has lower DPI, which is worst than the G305 that is only $30. There is a delay in sensitivity becoming the correct sensitivity after moving the moving from rest, never had an issue with other mouses. For now, the most apparent issue is the scroll wheel, imprecise cursor, and sensitivity delay before it registers the sensitivity that you set the mouse to, will update as I use the mouse for longer.

> 3 dayThis is a great all around mouse that aesthetically looks great and pairs with the Aurora collection. But the mouse isn’t that far off from the G305 that cost more than half as much. I would only say get this mouse to go with the Aurora keyboard to match otherwise there are better options out there.

> 3 dayIm a grown adult, but Im short with pretty small hands. This mouse is absolutely perfect for me, not too small and not too big. My Goldilocks of mouses! Not only that but being able to adjust the lights to any colors I want and any brightness I want, including off entirely, is fantastic. The buttons are all very responsive in the games Ive set them up in. The only game the side buttons dont work in are Stardew for some reason, but I think thats more about the game than the mouse. The battery lasts me about a week before I usually charge. Even then its not completely drained. I just like to be safe. Im using it at least 13 hours a day, 4-5 of those hours are usually gaming depending on the day. The battery definitely lasts even longer when using the dongle vs using just Bluetooth, but only by about 10% difference. It charges very quickly. The ergonomic portion is the most comfortable one Id ever had. My hand never gets sore from using this mouse unless Im playing something where I am clicking constantly. Even then, Ive noticed the clicking is very smooth and it takes longer for my hand to get sore. My absolute favorite part of this mouse is the little pads on the bottom of it that allow me to use it on any surface without a mouse pad. I hate dealing with mouse pads. Remembering to put one in my laptop bag, cleaning it, the way the edge feels against my skin. So I adore that I just use this mouse on my bare lap desk, chair arm, table, or desk.

> 3 dayI go through wireless mice like water ... this one is the best. Rechargeable the mouse pulsates different colors and when its dying it slowly flashes red around the entire mouse. Its fast and I actually got one for my boss too.

> 3 dayI am a long time fan of Logitech products so I was excited to try out this new mouse offering. I use an ergonomic mouse (also made by Logitech) most of the time but I like to switch it up with other ergo mice, trackballs and regular mice as well, since I spend a lot of time at a computer each day. The G705 is now part of this routine - I really enjoy using it, and here is why: 1. Its small and compact, but not too much where its uncomfortable when using it for long periods of time. 2. It holds a charge for a VERY long time - have had this for a month and used it regularly...still have not had to charge it. 3. Great for use on the road/travel - easy to throw in a backpack or put inside a laptop sleeve. 4. Its precise and accurate - excellent response to clicks, scrolling etc. This is important to me as Im a graphic designer so my mouse needs to be able to make pixel perfect moves. 5. Its relatively quiet - clicks are easy and soft sounding/feeling. 6. Connects easily to both my Mac desktop and laptop. 7. Programmable buttons are easy to customize. 8. Well made and feels like its a good quality instrument. Overall, this is a solid mouse option that is comfortable and fun to use. I highly recommend it!

> 3 dayI bought this to replace an older mouse that was no longer functioning reliably. I wanted a gaming mouse that was programmable, precise, wireless, and small enough to fit comfortably. The design of this mouse is 5 stars! The only slight drawback is that I have to charge the mouse, so for convenience I have the charging cord on my desk which is not ideal. However, this is a 5 star mouse. Cute in white to match my white peripherals, and also I love the light effects.

Greater than one weekLogitechs G705 gaming mouse is an attractive, compact, ergonomic gaming mouse with high DPI range and lots of customization options made available via G-shift and the G-hub software. Given the current price of around $92, I feel the mouse lacks features I consider basic, like infinite scroll, side to side scrolling, or one button device switching without having to flip over the mouse. So theres some glaring oversights with regards to the features this mouse does, and doesnt come with. I was able to take advantage of G-shift in Logitechs G-hub software to allow for easy profile switching by remapping the center DPI button to serve as the G-shift toggle. This allowed me to remap the side forward and back buttons to serve as my left and right scroll buttons whenever I press and hold the G-shift button. I cant seem to live without side to side scrolling, but theres a ton of other functions, actions, and system commands you can assign to any of the buttons on the G705. While Im glad that the mouse offers so much customization, I really wish I didnt have to waste two of my G-shift buttons on side to side scrolling. For the price, the mouse should have both infinite scrolling, and side to side scrolling. Man would this be a killer mouse if it did! Either way, its still a great mouse, but not what Id call a 5-star product as a result of the feature oversight. The mouse is very comfortable for my smallish lady hands and the buttons are placed appropriately and where I naturally expect them to be. That said, the buttons all make a fairly audible click sound when pressed, well, all of them except the scroll wheel click which is silent. Scrolling is silent. Another feature oversight, is the lack of an easy way to switch between bluetooth connection and wireless connection without having to flip over the mouse and press the button on the bottom. This would have made a great feature that would have allowed quick and easy switching between two connected hosts. Other mice at this price range include this feature as well. Theres also no dock for the USB receiver on the mouse. So you have to keep track of it when youre not using it since theres no convenient way to store it onboard. Glaring oversight. But the mouse does have really smooth movements thanks to the large teflon pads on the bottom. These should hold up well over time, and resist gaining traction as time goes on due to their simple shapes and large size which make for easy cleaning and maintenance. Otherwise the mouse is fairly standard, with customizable RGB lights like you see on any other gaming mouse. Nothing special, and you can turn them off if you like as well for a more neutral appearance. All in all its a comfortable mouse to use with a wide range of programmability available thanks to the inclusion of G-shift functionality. But theres some key features missing that really would have taken the G705 to the next level.

> 3 dayI love this mouse! As an avid gamer and writer I needed something that could do both. I also have smaller hands and this mouse fits so comfortably in the palm of my hand.

> 3 daymouse looks and feels very nice, the omission of powerplay and the proper hero sensor are clear cost-cutting by logitech on an already-expensive mouse. leaves a bad taste in my mouth, if it were to break I would not be sad to replace it with anything else (even from logitechs line.) maybe if we get a g706 and it actually has features to match its price. it came with a very nice cable and usb A-to-C adapter which I appreciated a lot.
