> 24 hourI have been a Lowepro owner for over a decade, starting with their Tropolis 1250 pack and then moving onto their CompuDaypack, which I have been very happy with for the last several years. But it was finally time for a new look and a few extra conveniences, so I decided on this RidgeLine Pro BP 300AW. What an awesome pack. It is designed for safe transport of your laptop and peripherals but looks nothing like a computer/camera pack. Its rugged, has a great hardshell sunglasses pocket, and tons of additional sections and pockets for all your smaller items. Zippers are rugged and everything is constructed properly. I think what I like best is the look. The black & orange colors with contrasting gray straps and snap locks is just a great look. Its super comfortable, and made with the kind of quality I have come to expect from Lowepro. Im glad Ive stuck with this brand over the years as they have never let me down and maintain very high standards. An easy recommendation.

> 24 hourI use it to carry my laptop... and diaper change/baby clothes/baby stuff. Its brilliant. Pockets for miles, perfect sturdiness to protect a laptop, easy cary handle. With few exceptions, mens diaper bags universally suck; this is amazing.

> 24 hourLowepro, the best brand for camera gear, gave us a backpack with amazing specs, water resistant, water resistant cover included too, space for carrying a 15 laptop, a 10“ tablet, books, notebooks, pens and a rigid cover for your glasses or small electronics. Is not the best option for camera however you can get a camera insert bag, it can holds a DSL camera and two lens and still can handle more space for more stuff. If you want to keep clothing instead of electronics it can holds like 4 pair of jeans, 3 t shirts, and a pair of shoes

> 24 hourIt took me many weeks of pedantically searching for my ideal bag before i happened across this one and I have to say it was worth the wait. My main reason or buying this bag was that I am planning to go back packing to Asia and South America and I am intending to take my laptop and a fairly decent camera with me. I needed a bag that I could use for the occasional hike with removable/stowable sternum and waist straps, offered good weather protection (with an integrated rain cover) incase I got caught in the rain and looked good enough to use for general day-to-day use during and after the trip. Astonishingly, this is the only bag I found which ticked all the boxes and I have to say it does so brilliantly. It looks good, has great sized pockets and feels really well put together. Im very happy with my purchase and I look forward to taking it abroad with me- I highly recommend it to others.

> 24 hourPerfect Mobile Office Backpack! Ive been using my Ridgeline 300 (in mica, looks very cool) for a couple of years now. I first bought it for a three month trip to Australia and New Zealand to use for my electronics.... it was PERFECT. I packed it with my 15 MacBookPro, ipad2, iphone 6s+ with Otterbox, Bose NC headphones in case, and all of the necessary cables. Everything has its own perfect safe place, including the cables in their little banded storage spots. The hard shell pocket in the top is perfect for sunglasses. Ive now travelled with this pack, always packed the same, extensively, by plane and car, and this pack has been the best travel tool Ive used in a very long time. Im actually considering buying a second one just to make sure Ive always got one at my disposal. Thanks Lowepro, this pack has been one of the best ones, yet!

> 24 hourMaterial is and workmanship are good, but the design is poor. Here are the areas that should have been designed better: 1. No small, zippered storage (for things like SD cards and USB drives). There is small storage pockets, and larger zippered storage pockets, but no small and zippered. 2. Grab handle is very thin, like something you might expect to find on a basic grocery bag. Its as if they forgot to put a grab handle on this backpack and then at the last minute just tacked on whatever handle they happened to have lying around. Its thin and has absolutely no cushioning for comfort. Not sure about its strength. Seems ok strong and attached, but Im not risking my stuff to test its limits. 3. Laptop and tablet compartments do not have something like a velcro strap to keep the item in place. You just slide in, slide out. Yes, the entire compartment is zippered at the backpack level, but still, they should not be allowed to slide around within that compartment like that. Not when its pretty trivial to add a strap to prevent it. 4. No cushioning or heavier duty, wear resistent material (e.g. rubber or thicker material) on the bottom, as protection when you set the backpack down vertically. My Targus backpack from 10 yrs ago had this, but this Lowepro does not. I do like the slim, compact size and shape at least. Overall, its not bad, just ok. But I think there are better alternatives out there. I do like Lowepro stuff in general and have a couple of Lowepro camera bags that were great, so I had high hopes. But this is a big disappointment. Update: After using this a few times, Im upping my review from 3 stars to 4. Despite its shortcomings, it does work reasonably well. The compact size and shape are nice, as are the light weight and the protective eyeglass holder. I may have judged it a bit harshly because I had high expectations. It could/should be better, but I would say in absolute terms, its not too shabby.
