I used the travel seat initially on my carry-on, and it shifted all over the place. My child was 23lbs at the time, which was equivalent to my packed carry-on did not stay upright on its own. I recommend placing it on your checked bag, and add a (separate) bag strap to hold it in place. I did not remove the seat when I checked the bag, just it zipped up; it was untouched and not damaged when I arrived at my destination. I would recommend it for anyone traveling with a toddler.

This thing rocks. Beats packing a stroller. Lots of compliments from people in the airport. “He’s living his best life!”, “that’s the best thing I’ve ever seen”, etc. Only down side... when putting it in the overhead it can fall off. Strap on top goes around handle (don’t know a better way, though). If the suitcase isn’t sturdy, it can slide left to right. Each one of these things happened once until I figured out a way to not mind it. Single parents need this.

It was fun first & its convenient too, especially when you are traveling alone with a toddler and a carry on luggage too. But the only thing that was missing was a safety waist belt. I feel that its too risky as there are chances that they might jump or if they move a bit the seat gets fold & it gets unbalance. So for that risk factor I am returning it. Cant take that risky fall. Besides that its a thumbs up...

Love this! Easy to use. Wish it also fit a bigger suitcase . Would be nice to use to/from parking lot even if u r checking a bag.

I purchased and used this for a 2 week trip to Europe with my 4 ½ year old. I was an absolute dream! My daughter no longer uses a stroller, but get restless in long lines and struggles with those mad dashes to catch a train or connecting flight. I looked at the cool ride-along suitcases for kids. But they just added another piece of luggage with little storage. This device was not only much cheaper than those suitcases, it was more practical for us. I was skeptical, so I ordered it early enough to try at home. I highly recommend this so you really have a chance to get it adjusted to fit your kids well. We were able to pack just 1 large suitcase with our items combined. The device fit easily in the front pocket when we werent using it. It was an absolute dream, and eliminated so much travel stress. Durable, comfortable and worth every penny. 100% satisfied!

This was literally the best travel device I could EVER have bought. My daughter is three years old, has always had non-stop energy, so having this seat was a god send on our recent travel where it was just her and I. We had a few connecting flights and rolled her everywhere! She not only loved it, but I received many compliments how cool this seat was for her. Best travel seat ever for a small child. I will recommend this to everyone I know!!!!

It was a risk we took to try this product. Although there could be a lot more improvements, we did survive the trip in NYC happily. All the things people criticized were pretty much all true: It was a little tricky to buckle her in at first, but we got very good at it after few practices. It was a perfect fit for my daughter at the time (around 26 lbs), and I could see that children any bigger or smaller would either not fit or flop around like crazy. The strap is... a joke. With all the existed hooks, a more secured safety strap could have been designed. If the luggage is not filled properly, my daughter would be tilted on the seat. It was like playing tetris everyday. It was a very good idea and I could see a bright future for lugabug with some modifications just because of how many people have asked us about it after seeing my daughter happy or asleep in the seat. 1. Firmer material so the shape doesnt change too much when a child sits on it. 2. Upgrade the safety belt 3. Stronger straps to hold the seat and the back because they dont appear strong to begin with.

I debated getting between this Lugabug or a riding suitcase for my three year old son. I am so glad I got this. My son who hated a stroller loved to sitting on this. I didnt have to carry extra, and it is easy to put on or off for security check. I had to transit with my son between terminals at LAX by myself, but Lugabug made the transit easy and quick. I got so many compliments when I was walking at airports. I give 4stars, because when my son leaning forward it bends awkward like the second picture shows but as long as I told him to leaning against the suitcase it worked great.

It is useful but not very steady. I used it on my 14 month old. Helps only during terminal change in airports, but would prefer an umbrella stroller for getting out of the airport etc. with a kid. However, for its weight it is good use and an interesting concept.

Attached it to our carry on suitcase for my almost 30 pound toddler. It worked ok. It seems it would work better if it is on a full size suitcase and if the kiddo is less than 25 pounds. A bit flimsy and it shifts side-to-side easily. Only used once and decided a stroller was the better option.
