> 3 dayIngenious concept. Unfortunately, it doesnt work on polycarbonate suitcases and thats what we have. :( If you have a cloth suitcase, and your child is.. id say 4 or younger and still fitting in size 4T clothing, go for it.

> 3 dayI want to start by saying that this was a life saver on my recent trip with solo with my 10 month old and 3 year old. My 3 year old wanted to ride it the whole time we were in the airport! So many people were talking to us about it or at least pointing to us and smiling from a distance seeing my daughter riding on my suitcase. The biggest reasons that I am only giving it 3 stars is because it is challenging to use when you don’t have someone else there to help you hold the suitcase to keep it from tipping over. We had a couple close calls with tip overs while I was trying to latch the lap belt and it was challenging to pay for snacks at the airport store because I had to hold it while getting my wallet out of my diaper bag. Which brings me to my other reason for only giving it 3 stars. I found the hook for the lap belt very difficult to latch one handed while trying to stabilize the suitcase at the same time. I think I am going to return it for a different product that is more like a folding chair to see if that is easier to use when I am not traveling with someone to help me. However, my biggest hesitation of that other one over Lugabug is that it is not as compact, but we shall see if that price is worth the benefit.

> 3 dayUmmm… can I give this product a million stars? We did our first flight with our little one and, like all moms, I threw myself into hours to research. The research ranging from “how to keep my little one entertained throughout a 5 hour flight” to “what is most effective way to get a toddler through and airport.” All sources pointed to luging my stroller through the airport which I was not fond of…. “What about layovers?” “What if they damage my stroller ?” Then I came across this product via a YouTube which for the life of my I can’t find. Perfect! Is all I could think. It’s so efficient and we saved ourselves a lot of hassle with our connecting flight that got delayed. We choose to strap the lug bug to our hardshell carry on. And week before the trip we “practiced” with our toddler so she wasn’t wary of sitting in the seat. Worth every penny!

> 3 dayI used the travel seat initially on my carry-on, and it shifted all over the place. My child was 23lbs at the time, which was equivalent to my packed carry-on did not stay upright on its own. I recommend placing it on your checked bag, and add a (separate) bag strap to hold it in place. I did not remove the seat when I checked the bag, just it zipped up; it was untouched and not damaged when I arrived at my destination. I would recommend it for anyone traveling with a toddler.

> 3 dayMy daughter loves this. Must have when travelling with a toddler, no need to carry your child esp in big airports during connecting flights. Just practice getting your child in and out the lugabug prior to travel. Make sure not to use on stairs, elevators and escalators. Ty lugabug.

> 3 dayReceived lots of attention at the airport lol. I actually ran into a friend of the creators who recognized it! Super cool.

> 3 dayLoved the idea and really wanted it to work, but did not work as expected. Perhaps it had to do with our suitcase type, but not as secure and sturdy as I had expected for the price point. Perhaps I would give v2 another go.

> 3 dayI used it on a hard luggage and when I attempted to use it on the airport, it slid off my bag together with my kid. She almost got hurt. Maybe, its only fit to use on soft luggages but I dont want to take any more chances with it.

> 3 dayI used this product on a recent trip. On the way to the destination, I brought a Samsonite Omni PC carryon and the lug a bug completely destroyed one of the suitcase wheels. Before we even got to our gate, my daughter could no longer ride because the suitcase was wrecked. She’s 47 lbs, which is close to the max weight limit, and the suitcase was a 4-wheel spinner. That said, the suitcase was less than 2 years old and not cheap, so it really stunk to lose it. When we arrived at our destination, I ordered a Travelpro Maxlite 5 and used that on the way home. The lug a bug worked MUCH better on the Travelpro. The Samsonite was much less stable (my daughter kept falling off when I stopped or turned) and it also felt like I was dragging the Samsonite around vs. rolling it (as with the Travelpro). On the plus side, my daughter loved the seat and we will likely use the lug a bug with the Travelpro suitcase on a couple more trips this summer.
