> 3 dayi like the weight and able to pack the suitcase for a 4 day trip. upon packing for the return trip home, 1 of the latches would not catch and close. if it did, it would pop open still. i bought luggage straps to criss-cross rhe suitcase. recommend? buy another maker

> 3 daythis is a POLYCARBONATE SUITCASE. I searched ‘aluminum suitcase’ and this was Amazon’s first result. I understand that the 1.5 inch frame may be made with aluminum, but this is false advertising to be an ‘aluminum suitcase’. Seems to be well built for the price, and since I need it for an upcoming trip I’ll keep it - Caveat emptor

> 3 dayI decided to purchase this suitcase because I have heard too many stories about easily the zipper suitcases can be opened. This suitcase is roomy and solid. The only drawback is a bit heavier than the zipper based suitcase.

Its a rigid suitcase with a latch mechanism, and it really cant (or shouldnt be) overstuffed. It is also more weighty, which I hadnt considered during the purchase.
