I bought this to use with my Staples Connect smart home controller. I use them to control my GE wink light bulbs. They work great. Definitely a good choice if you dont want to buy the more expensive switch or outlet controllers.

This remote control works very well with my Maestro and Caseta dimmers. I wish there were more scene options, though.

I installed several and a hub in order to control lighting on a programmed basis and by remote control using my cell phone. The remotes themselves also add to the capability of having convenient switch rather than having to go to where the hardwired switch was installed. Using the dimmer will ultimately reduce my electricity bill and should pay for itself in the long run.

These luton pico remotes are awesome and affordable. Its nice to have one by the couch so you can adjust the lights without getting up. If you have the right set up, you can use your phone to do that too, but the remote is very handy. Also, since you can use them to replace multiple switches, you can put them anywhere you want without worrying about wiring.

for the remote that the dog chewed on. It still works, but the top piece on the front is chewed up pretty bad. He is a bad little dog. Right now, he is in the other dogs crate playing with his squeaky elephant. The dog waits until we go to bed to grab things off the end tables (hubbys side mostly) and during the day, he likes to hop on the bed and walk over to my nightstand and try to grab anything he can, which is how he got the remote that is being replaced. The remote works well and you are able to dim it and then also automatically have it shut off gradually with the bottom button.

Yes, this is not an inexpensive light switch system, but it’s a very good one. The dimmer is flexible, and works perfectly. As long as one switch is hard-wired, you can add as many sister-switches you desire. The battery in the remote switches last so long, I’ve never replaced one in 3 yrs! I’ve tried others, and alway come back to this brand — it just works!

Nice feel and easy to set up. Will be using it mounted in the wall but havent received the Pico backplate yet.
