Lutrons products are all rock-solid, but the pico remote is the most useful of the bunch. You can install them anywhere, including adjacent to existing junction boxes (so you can have a 2-gang box and a three gang plate that passes over a stud, for example) and they provide a direct point of control for any Caseta or Serena device. This pairing is direct-to-device, and will function (always instantly, Ive found) in absence of internet connectivity. These get even more interesting if you pair them with a smart home hub or Lutron Bridge. Then you can control other smart home devices on the same hub using Picos and the hubs rules.

I love these little things! So easy to pair and convenient to install.

I affixed this little remote next to my bed, and can now easily turn the lights on/off, or dim them. The remote does not have to be pointing at the light switch in order to work, which is a great plus. You can also set your default lighting intensity using the middle button. Nice design and good functionality.

we had one light switch in our dining room, and to turn on the light, wed have to cross the dining room in the dark to turn on the light. after replacing the one light switch with the lutron caseta, i installed this pico remote on the other side of the room! what a fantastic way to add a switch w/o the electrician and wiring through old plaster walls!

I bought this because I was putting a foyer light (3 way switch) on the Caseta switches so that I could set it to go on based on sunset. You have to eliminate the second switch, so I got this remote to perform the same function. Set it up once, and never had to think about it again. Use the switch daily and no issues with the connection. And the instructions were easy to understand (eliminating the second switch in y circuit). Im no electrician, but this is easily do-able for a DIYer. According to the instructions, the battery lasts for years, so no concern there. Great product. Had it in use for about 8 months.
