> 24 hourThe product arrived quickly, but you can tell its obviously used. Plug and cable dirty and scuffed box weather cover had dirt in it. Lock and cable were shoved into bottom of box and keys were separated and rattling around the box. It appears some people recieved a yellow cleaning cloth (or something simar) with theirs ,I did not. Theres a cardboard backer with twist ties to hold the surge protector in place inside box while being shipped, nope. Not attached to it with ties. I tested the circuit with my multimeter and everything seems connected internally. And the blue surge protection light is on when plugged in. Ill update if it melts or kills my rv. Ill test it on my old hunting camper first, Im not stupid.

> 24 hourIt was working fine then one day I walk out side to g to work only to smell burning plastic then the power shut off a few hours later. I discovered that the surge protector had melted at the power female prong (pics provided). I had to order a new extension cord for the camper out of fear of safety since it melted the the plastic around the male prong of the cable. The connection between the park outlet and the protector was fine. It handled weather fine but melting like that is uncalled for this product. I guess you get what you pay for in a situation like this but i was expecting it fail a year or more later, not 3 months. I will definitely switch brands and budget.
