> 3 dayThere are a number of surge protection options available so you may find one more to your personal liking but this one is pretty nice. For piece of mind, it doesn’t hurt to have extra surge protection. The plug will even let you know if your outlet is incorrectly wired before you connect to your camper. The design is well thought out - there is an easy grip handle to make plugging and unplugging easier. The protector has a weatherproof cover to provide extra protection to your camper/RV cable when plugged into this device. It comes with a cleaning cloth and an extra plastic rain cover/parka to keep the pedestal dry. The kit also comes with a lock and keys to secure your surge protection from theft. As an added bonus they included a metal anti-theft cable. At $48 MSRP it’s not a bad choice.

> 3 dayProduct looks good. Only thing is that it seems too expensive for a normal cheap iron lock. I bought another from Komsepor brand a week ago which came with a convenient number lock for only $59. I would rather prefer Komsepor for the price!

> 3 dayItem works as advertised and appears well made. It has Surge protection and is much less expensive than other overpriced similar items. It checks line connection and also provides surge protection. Would buy again.

> 3 dayThere is another photo evidenced 2-star review from another purchaser. I’m sure this review will get buried but this randomly happened during my parents 3-week stay at a lake RV resort. Circuit analyzer melted where my parents RV power cord connected into the analyzer. The resort’s power plug was fine and so was the top plug of the analyzer as evidenced with photos. Did not cut the power when there was an obvious abnormality in the voltage resulting in a burn that ruined the analyzer and parent’s RV power cord. So I do not recommend it for reliability.
