In this story of a little girl who has her appendices removed, she gets lots of gifts and the other girls of the orphanage wish they could get gifts too. It didnt appeal to my 4 year old son.

Remembering Madeline from my childhood, I couldnt resist purchasing a copy for my granddaughter. We read it together, and she absolutely loved it! Although its from a different era than hers, she could relate to it all, and found it fascinating. She wants to hear it over and over, and will soon be reading it herself. You cant go wrong with this classic!

I gifted this to a colleagiues new baby girl-its great way to introduce little ones to language and classic books!

This is a series of scans of multiple pages, very small. Not fun for reading with a child. Dont recommend it.

We love this book and the board book version is perfect for our toddler.

As a small child, five decades ago, my mother had bought me this book. I loved it. When a friend was having her first child and asked for books as baby gifts, I knew exactly what to purchase.

I loved this book as a child and am thrilled that my toddler now loves it as well! Its such a sweet story with adorable illustrations.
