Its a timeless wonderful childrens story that every generation can enjoy .. both the reader and the listener together forever.

This book, along with the Madeline doll, is my go to baby gift for girls.

We originally got this book + cd from the library. Loved them so much and were still talking about the extra French songs months later. Unable to find good equivalents on YouTube, I searched and found this same Puffin Audio set as our library. Highly highly recommend for if you enjoy listening to books and songs in the car. My 2 year old and 4 year old sing along or at least try too. It’s also nice that they’re a break from the typical kids songs of today. The story part has a ding to follow along in the book. The 4 year old has a little trouble keeping up but I think she’ll get the hang of it soon. Love the narration too! If you’ve read Madeline out loud before, you may remember that some of the rhymes/cadences/flow of the book are a bit awkward so I really love that the narrators do such a good job.

Wonderful story, easy read, one of MY all time favorites. Bought this for my nearly 3 year old grand daughter. Its not HER favorite, but I do try to read it to her several times each week.

We love this book and the board book version is perfect for our toddler.

Beautifully Illustrated

I ordered the book (my favorite from my childhood) to share with my future daughter, who will be here in two months! I ordered the book as used - good but the book is actually in great condition.
