> 3 dayThis is the best Ive ever used. Many options for holding your projects, or soldering situations when you need more hands. Im going to add a magnetic based magnifier for those tiny object times....

> 3 dayThis is my 3rd set of helping hands and so far from what I can tell it will be my last because compared to the others it’s night and day quality wise. They are a little more expensive than others but we’ll worth it. Buy once cry once.

Greater than one weekI’ve been an tinkerer for years. Had some of the cheap helping hands tools. They’ve always failed, or broken. Pros: - It’s sturdy and doesn’t shift while working - Solid build materials - High diversity in the arms allows manipulation of a lot of materials Cons: - The clips utilize screws to keep them in place. Which can come out fairly easily - No ESD clip/mount so be careful Wish there was a light (which I simply build) and that there was a better way to manage the alligator clips. Other than that it’s a solid tool that anyone working with electronics should have.

> 3 dayNothing to dislike about this product it was exactly what I needed since I build a lot of self designed circuits for various projects and mocking up a pro type for testing my old clamp system was frustrating and often led to poor solder joints and instead of going through the frustration of re-securing the workpiece and correcting the poor connection I’d just tell myself “that’s good enough for now” then I finally broke down and decided to replace my old system with this one and it has been a stress lowering tool more than anything . My solder quality improved immediately and looked professional again

> 3 dayI love the magnetic setup and the flexible arms are easy to manipulate and rigid enough to hold stuff well. I use this for soldering as well as some other craft projects so I was hoping the hot air gun holder would be a good arm for holding some heavier art projects. It holds things fine, but the ball joints are not made well; parts on them twist as if you should be able to tighten and loosen the ball joint, but it doesnt actually do anything... Another note is that the protective bits over the alligator clamp teeth is not super heat or abrasive resistant and began showing wear after one night of soldering stuff (it looks like its just small pieces heat shrink tubing or something)

> 3 dayI am amazed how well the construction is. This thing is solid! Probably the only product Ive received from Amazon (china.com) that was made well.

> 3 dayWould have been a 5 STAR if hadn’t been for the cheap plastic thumb nut on the big clamp! The thumb nut is for locking the clamp into position but when you try to lock it, the threads strips making it useless. There are two thumb nuts, one is metal but only one, the other is plastic. Everything else is made well, why they used a plastic nut is beyond me. I paid $50. For this but with plastic nuts, it’s not worth that! Thinking about returning it.

> 3 dayI spend time soldiering wires to microcontrollers, and it can be quite the challenge to get everything held in place to solder them together with the correct placement and angles. After endless vice and clamp gymnastics that half the time had me burning my fingers, I bought this great product. It has enough holders to keep everything secure and in place, and makes getting correct, clean solders so much easier.
