> 3 dayReally hard to get a good magnification due to the glass having to much convection. Only small sweet spot.

Greater than one weekBeing a bit older now (66), this magnifying glass fits very nicely in my hands and does exactly what I need it to do...make small print easier to read.

> 3 dayWhile it will magnify and light up a page, the focus does not seem to extend uniformly across the 3-1/8” diameter lens. In addition, the magnifier seems heavier than it may need to be. Both of these issues may be directly related to ‘glass’ required to create the 30X magnification – don’t know. What I do know is that I prefer my simple 10X x 4” diameter magnifier over this one. The latter is lighter in weight and produces a clearer image, albeit not so magnified.

> 3 dayI put the two AA-size batteries in and turned them on. Worked so well that I ordered three more. Now I have one in every room that I read in!

Greater than one weekIm digitizing a TON of old film slides. This magnifying glass, along with a magnifying loupe and a small light pad have been really helpful with this task.Film slides are very small. Like a regular magnifying glass, but it lights up what you want see up close, great feature!
